This jacket, where the "TDS" stands for thermal defense system, features both Gore-Tex and V-Science technology which all but assures a comfortable, waterproof jacket that is still breathable, and in this case, also windproof.     gigi ruff is among the best, so he's going to need the best, and this just happens to be it. i would say this jacket and the 3l Burn jacket from burton are the two best snowboard specific jackets on the market IMO right now. they have an AMAZING amount of features. i test rode this jacket along with the 3l burn jacket. i ended up going with the 3l burn jacket, but this jacket was very close! i love this jacket. super waterproof with 3l gore tex, got your recco avalanche detector, and an amazing amount of other features. check the specifications page on this jacket. really can't go wrong with this jacket!! LOVE IT!
