I'm here to talk about my snowboard boot the Vans Andreas Wiig snowboard boots named after myself. So, when I came up with the infamous snowboard boot I was thinking about my roots, from the Vikings, and I'm also really into rock, so if there was a Viking rock snowboard boot, this would be the perfect snowboard boot for it.
So one of the main things when we worked on the snowboard boot was the closure features, especially the straps. How the laces are attached to the strap here and here, and it closes all around to the back of the snowboard boot, so it gives you a better closure and more support.
A lot of thought about details went into this snowboard boot when we made it, like laser engraved lace hooks and you can see the emboss right here, it just brings the snowboard boot together really well. I'm really stoked about my Signature snowboard boot. It's my first one ever, and it's a lot of history behind having this Signature snowboard boot for Vans so it's like an honor to follow in the footsteps of Danny Kass and Jamie Lynn and Daniel Franck and Tara Dakides.
