Description: Volkl Pro Fadeout Ski Jacket

Ski to your heart's content in the Volkl Pro Fadeout Ski Jacket! The clean, pared-down design of the Volkl Pro Fadeout Ski Jacket for men gives snow riders a sleek technical shell without sacrificing premium winter protection. Cut with an athletic fit, the Pro Fadeout ski and snowboard jacket may look minimalist in form, but it features Volkl's Sensortex technology for a reliable waterproof and breathable layer. When weather conditions deteriorate, fasten up the powder skirt and don the fixed hood to harness more heat and slam the door on drafts and snow. Take on the mountain full force with the Volkl Pro Fadeout Ski Jacket!

How warm is this jacket? Is it warm enough for zero degrees (F) without the usual type of layering or is it more of a shell that requires significant insulation?
Debbie S on Jan 22, 2014
Best Answer: HI it is a great jacket, however it has one major flaw. The air vent zipper right under each arm pit is not protected by cloth. The result is it nearly rubbing holes through the jacket on each sleeve (inside of bicep area). After only one trip this was a major problem. You can avoid this by leaving the zipper in the down position, but it leaves your vents open.

Very warm and stylish jacket. Got tons of compliments on it.
