Best Bindings out there.

I just got the darker series lib tech and i have L/XL union contact bindings. I haven't been able to get up to the mountain yet but I'm thinking they might be too soft for my new board. Any input on that and also i wear a 10.5 wide to and 11 wide depending on the brand. Is the L/XL probably the best size binding or should I go a size smaller?
