Description: Union Contact Snowboard Bindings

The go to binding for Union Pro Rider Scott Stevens, the Contact is on the softer side of the spectrum, and ideal for any park and urban setting. This year Union teamed up with Sketchy Tank for custom Lurker graphics on Scott's colorway.

Minimal Contact Footprint allows for even board flex and is compatible with the 4x2 mounting pattern, as well as The Channel from Burton. With a mere 5% binding to board contact area, the MD Base enhances natural board flex, boosting performance and overall durability.

One of the lightest bindings ever produced, the Contact focuses the strength of Duraflex™ in critical areas of the base for power, and takes full advantage of Multi-Density Thermoformed EVA Bushing dampening everywhere else. Full bottom bushing system allows for natural canting and next level vibration dampening control. Free yourself of foot pain, and up your snowboard game. Union took their Multizone philosophy and tweaked it towards the outside for boosted lateral support and control when pressing, buttering and spinning off jumps.

Are the front straps toe straps? Or top straps?
Aaron on Oct 1, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The to strap can be used as a toe strap on the top of your boot or as a toe cap on the toe of your boot. Hope this helps!
which one is better for beginner-intermediate rider, Union Contact or Burton Custom ? or neither one lol

my goal is to learn how to ride on rails, hit small-medium kickers, and do some buttering

The Union Contact will be a binding that you can grow into as you advance as a rider. The materials put into that binding are going to be better overall for you, and hold up better than a Custom.
Are the ankle straps comfortable and plush feeling?
liam fischer on Aug 12, 2016
I have not had these bindings on my feet for long (sooo new), but they seem excellent. They, like most Union bindings, seem to offer a slid and comfortable fit.
