Tyrolia SL100 on Atomic skis
Fitted SL100 bindings to Atomic Century ladies skis, price was good and the bindings are very light keeping overall weight of skis low, also they have a low Din of 3 which suited as the rider being only 52kg. Have used for one season with no problems, releasing when necessary.
Only complaint bindings do not come with template for fitting to skis, but one was easily made using ply wood.

For a fat ski and for the price these have turned out to be way better than I thought they would be.

I don't know if they have enough tech in the toe release for use on a racing or GS ski or on a fatter ski for use in the park...They have been fine for romping around in powder on- and off-piste on a fat rocker ski.

Good price also the width of binding is important and the DIN is suitable in relation to the intended rider.

I am looking at a 98 mm width ski. Can I use the 115mm?
Mark on Feb 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hey there Mark!

It is recommended to use a ski binding with a brake width 5-10mm wider than the waist width of the ski. A 115mm brake for a 98mm waist is too wide.

Here are some recommendations:

i am getting148cm skis but i wear a size 9.5 shoe for me would this binding be ok?
dan g on Nov 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: I do believe that this binding will suit your needs. I put these on a pair of 170 and love the feel
I am a relatively new skier. I am 5'11" and weigh 175 and wear a size 10.5 boot. Would these bindings work for a set of K2 AMP Sabre skis?
Jerry on Feb 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Not familiar with K2 AMP but if they have a flat top yes. Have used Tyrolia bindings for a season now and they perform well. Depending on your skier type coupled with your height and weight plus your boot sole length (the number usually molded on the side of your boot near the heel) your DIN setting could be anywhere between 6 1/2 and 9 1/2 the Tyrolia has a range from 3 up to 10 so would be suitable. PS don't forget to check the brake width is suitable for your skis.
I need a pair of bindings for 2013 line celebrity skis (85mm) and an additional pair for some 4 front madonna skis (90mm). The skier is 5'6 and 110lbs. Will these bindings work well?
J D on Dec 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hey JD.

The 90mm brake width of the Tyrolia SL100 Ski Bindings will work for both skis (however, that is a pretty tight fit for the Madonnas. I typically recommend brake width be 5-10mm wider than the width of the ski.)

The real question is if this is a binding the skier will be comfortable using. The Tyrolia SL100 Ski Bindings are beginner to intermediate bindings. The skis you've named are intermediate to advanced.
Will it fit Prophet Flite skies?
David M on Jan 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: They are sized to 115mm..My Salomon Czars are 111mm underfoot. That ski you mention is 113 so they should fit...The tech can bend them a tiny bit to fit but the numbers indicate they will fit without modification....BTW...I have only used them one season but for a fat ski they seem to be a great value and provide good quick release and don't foul easily
Would these bindings work on Elan RCG Waveflex Plate Junior Race skis?
Casey M on Oct 26, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Casey
Have been using Tyrolia SL100 bindings for two seasons now and can't fault them they are very light and release as they should, they have a DIN range from 3 to 10 so if the rider is a smaller person the low setting could suit the rider. They will fit any flat top ski but if you are going to fit them yourself you will need to borrow or make a jig as there is no mount template supplied, also don't forget to to measure the ski width under foot so you can order the correct brake.
Hi Im 185lbs and have size 10.5 boots will these fit my ramp skis? Length 179. Sidecut 126-80-110??
scott on Apr 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 90 mm size brake width on the Tyrolia SL100 Ski Bindings would fit on your Sidecut 80 mm width skis. The binding will be put on your skis by your certified ski technician when the binding is sized to your boots. Your ski tech will also set your safety din release.
I have old salomon (10 years) bindings now, and the DIN setting is 7. These bindings go up to 10, which sounds like enough. Are all DIN settings the same, or is each manufacturer a little different?
A shopper on Mar 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Each manufaturer has a slightly different DIN settings.
I have skis that are 98mm under foot. Can i use the 110mm brake width?
A shopper on Mar 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes. It's suggested to stay within 15mm of the underfoot width.
what size of these will fit my Rossignol S2 Howeel 170 skis?
tgold10 on Feb 24, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The 115mm Tyrolia SL100 Ski Bindings would fit your Rossignol S2 Howeel 170 Skis best.
Does this binding use a 92w jig? I need to mount on a Tyrolia race plate for adaptive purposes. Ski is the Rossignol Experience 83 so was planning on the 90mm brake.
Lisa S on Feb 21, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi Lisa,
As this is a little technical, I am going to direct you to our ski specialists for a specific answer: 1 (800) 409-7669. Most Tyrolia bindings are going to use the same mounting jig... but you cannot mount just any bindings to a race plate.
Hi will these fit size 9 boots ?and how do u adjust them To your boot?
A shopper on Feb 14, 2015
BEST ANSWER: If mounted correctly the Tyrolia SL100 Ski Bindings can fit a size 9 boot. I adjust the these bindings with a screw driver.
Looking for a binding to fit twin tips with an 85mm waist. These are for my son - height 4'10" weight 90lbs. Would these be a good choice? If not, can you make a suggestion? Thank you!
Kim G on Dec 11, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Hey Kim!

Tyrolia SL100 Ski Bindings are a great choice for your son. I recommend the 90mm brake width for his 85mm waist ski.

Hope the two of you enjoy a stellar and snow filled winter!
Is the binding fit Head shape one ski 170cm for the skier 95 kg weight?
A shopper on May 27, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Yes the Tyrolia SL100 Ski Binding can be mounted on Head Skis for a skier weighing 95kg. However, you may want to use a binding with a higher DIN setting for more hold. I recommend a binding with a DIN Setting of 4-13.
