Great jacket
Just order two sizes bigger than you normally would... It runs small but a great jacket.

Looks aweseome, feels awesome.
I wore this out skiing in Colorado in January, The coat was perfect for what I needed. I was actually a bit too warm at times while skiing. It was in the upper 20's (F) during my trip though. Great jacket!

Perfect
After looking quite literally for years for a nice looking jacket at a good price, I found it. I bought size Med for my 15 year old son who is 5' 11" and slim. It fit him perfectly. He says it is warm and comfortable and I love the quality and colors scheme. The quality really is similar to more expensive brands.

Great jacket
I'm very happy with my purchase. It has a very slim fit like the other reviewers said so make sure you size up at least one size, if not two. Has nice insulation. So I was plenty warm with just a t-shirt in 30 degree weather. Wore a fleece vest underneath in low 20s and was actually too warm. Wore it in the rain and was bone dry. My only complaint is that the thumb holes can chafe the webbing of my thumbs so I just leave the sleeves like normal. Built in powder skirt really does well keeping the snow out when you crash hard. Can't feel the wind at 20+ mph. Good jacket, well worth the money.

2117 Of Sweden Jovattnet
Like said by others, it runs small. I usually wear a medium 'insulated' jacket', the large fits snug. If you are border line order 2 sizes up. Nicely constructed jacket, the red is more orange than red.

Very Small
6'3" 175 pounds slim frame, normally run between an xl and a large so I ordered a jacket in each size with plans to return the one that didn't fit. They were both too small, and I'm not sure if an xxl would have done it either. Nice jacket that I would have been happy with but order a size or two up and expect to still fit snuggly.

nice jacket, but...
Got this for my son. Warm, nice slim fit, but the left sleeve velcro enclosure detached from the jacket within 3 weeks of purchase...working with customer service resolution. There is a 1 year warranty,

btw, hood is not helmet compatible

C M on Feb 13, 2014
Best Answer: No, the hood on the 2117 Of Sweden Jovattnet Ski Jacket is not removable. It is a great ski jacket with tons of pockets, great insulation and waterproofing. It is a european cut so make sure to size up at least one size. Have fun out there!

Does it suit for minus degree?
A shopper on Dec 29, 2013
Best Answer: I haven't yet used it for negative degrees, but skiing with very low temps plus wind and snow, I've gotten somewhere around zero. I always wear a fleece underneath, and I'm sure if you wore something warn underneath it could keep you warm in the negatives, I'm usually not worried about my body covered by coat, usually just hands, face and feet, so I'm not sure, but it is a very good coat, I like it a lot!

Are the sleeves insulated? Need it very wwwwwarm for NH winter. 5'7', 150 pounds- M or L. Afraid in the large the sleeves will be too long. Thanks!
A shopper on Dec 12, 2014
Best Answer: Hey there!

Yes the sleeves are insulated on the 2117 Of Sweden Jovattnet Ski Jacket. There is 100g of insulation in the jacket. This combined with your layering system should keep you ready for all that NH has to throw at you this winter. Have a great winter and LET IT SNOW!

I did my my measurements last night and I've got about a 43" chest but I'm only 5'9" and 175lbs and have a short upper body.. Normally I am in a M (mostly) or L jacket or shirt but it would seems that this would put me in an XL which seem to make the rest of the jacket oversized. I plan to where a base layer and fleece under neath thoughts?
A shopper on Nov 28, 2014
Best Answer: 2117 jackets and pants are european cuts...they run small. I'd say the XL is probably the best fit.

What is the Fit of 2117 Of Sweden Jovattnet Ski Jacket?
A shopper on Feb 20, 2015
Best Answer: Hi!
I love the style of these 2117 jackets... they tend to have a more modern and fitted look... that is a little slimmer. If you are right between sizes get the larger one.

I am 5'5" 150 lbs (athletic build). I have a 38" chest. I purchased the 2117 Jovattnet ski jacket size large. It appears a bit long on my torso (top of my thighs). It does not feel tight in chest or arm areas. Do you think a medium would be a better fit? Thanks!
Jelmd1 on Dec 10, 2014
Best Answer: Hey there!

If you click on Sizing and Fit directly next to Select a Size you will find all measurements for 2117.

Typically, 2117 Jackets have a European Athletic Cut and run smaller. I size up. The medium will most likely fit you better.

Hope this helps. Have a stellar winter!

I wear a mens medium in Patagonia. Will a large work?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2014
Best Answer: Hey,
I believe so. These 2117 Jackets tend to run a little slimmer, and a little bit more fitted. My 2117 jacket is a size up too. (P.S: I really like the 2117 of Sweden stuff).

I'm 6'3" 285LB wiith a 56 inch chest. According to sizing chart it looks like even the 3x will be small for me, any advice here?
Steve C on Oct 23, 2014
Best Answer: Steve,

These 2117 Jackets are excellent, and the listing on the size charts will be correct. They do though have a more fitted style, and I too think it might be too small. I went through our jackets, and some of our Sessions coats have similar chest sizes to this, with a little more relaxed fit. Take a look. Know that you can always contact our product experts at 1 (800) 409-7669 who definitely can help you.

How much insulation does this coat offer?
A shopper on Dec 9, 2013
Best Answer: Although the desprition and specs for the 2117 of Sweden Jovattnet Ski Jacket do not have the insulation listed, I'd say that it has between 80-120 g of poly fill.
