Staff Review

Dave McCaul here at the house talking about Thirty Two Exus snowboard boots. As far as price points snowboard boots go, for the ones we have at the store, this is pretty much going to be your best bet, right around the 100 dollar level.
What you are looking at in this one, is it features there level one key mobile liner. It’s going to pick up all the structure of your ankle, your toe, and your arch--basically make it a custom product for your foot. From there, you get a stiffener that runs up along here, attaches to the lace so it’s very durable. It’s gotta a really easy to get in and out of system here. From there, like I said, just a level one liner. It’s going to be a little bit softer in its flux, as well as the snowboard boot too. One being soft, ten being stiff, I’m probably putting about a two or a three. It’s good for an entry level rider over somebody who’s looking to do rails and boxes and get really soft snowboard boot to press it to their desire.
The outer of the snowboard boot, synthetic leather. A little bit of corder on the side window here. Full rubber sole, does have a nice ice spikes so you get good grip walking off the half pipe or any kind of bad country stuff. Big thing on this snowboard boot is the Boa closure system. That makes it very easy to get out of the snowboard boot and from there to get in, simply just tighten this up and it’s going to give you all the tension you want. You can cut off the circulation with the Boa system, if you want. A lot of people wonder about the durability of the Boa Lace Cable. It’s super strong - way more than a traditional lace. It’s actually 29 strands of stainless steel woven together. So it’s pretty much impossible to break them.
From there -- well, we’ll have to cut this one a little bit. From there, just a really, really good, entry-level, all-mountain snowboard boot. If it is your first time riding or like I said you do boxes and rails, super good one to check out. Custom molds to you snowboard boot. Good price. The Thirty Two Exus snowboard boot. Bam.

    • "Good boots"

      , AL
Pros: Good for starters, Easy to put on and take off, Cons: Not too high on the BOA system,

Demo'd these boots earlier in the year. Despite being old rentals, they were still pretty good. Maybe with a new liner and insole, these boots would have been great!!!

    • "Sick Boots!"

      , Redding, CA
Pros: Great Fit, Easy To Tie Up, Cons: Takes Forever To Tighten,

These boots are awesome!! They fit great and are simple to tighten although it takes forever to tighten them :/. But other than that these boots ROCK!

    • "Very Good Boots"

      , AL
Pros: Good price, Good fitment with min. heel lift, Cons: shoe sizing, design could look better,

The best bang for your buck if your looking for snowboarding boots, its the cheapest Boa style boots i've seen on the net and in store. I've tried on a few other style boa boots that were also boa from reputable companys and I got to say that these boots have the same quality in functionality as the other more expensive ones. Be warned that my shoe size is normally 10.5 but Im more of a 11.5 or 12 for these boots.

    • "Easy All Level Boot"

      , GLEN ALLEN, VA
Pros: Good Flex for park, Warm and BOA system means quick in and out, Comfort thats affordable Cons: Maybe a bit too soft for some,

These boots are great for the cost. They cover ever basic necessity that every rider needs from a boot. Great fit, comfort, warmth, ease of use, and reliability. I love these boots. I got them for a great deal, and on the mountain they never let me down. The only DOWN side I have is that the BOA crank dial is a bit slow. Sometimes if you pull the tongue all the way out it takes a while to turn it till the boot is tight. But thats not really a problem since you aren't taking them on and off all the time. Great boot, don't write them off your list just because they are cheaply priced, for the money you will NOT find a better boot. Knowing what I know now, I would easily buy this boot for more than I had originally bought it for.

    • "Great all around boot"

      , CORONA DEL MAR, CA
Pros: Easy to secure, ease of removal, comfort Cons: no side locking, weight, style

I love these boots. Won't need to replace for at least 3 seasons.

    • "Average Boot"

      , SUN CITY, CA
Pros: Boa, Cons: Liner Lacing System, Heel Lift,

This is a nice boot to start with, nothing too fancy, just a solid boot. I like the boa system, but have upgraded to a double boa and it made a different. The liner does not seem to stay tight over a day of riding, but overall it is a good boot.

    • "Good beginner boot"

      , WEST SALEM, WI
Pros: warmth, foot support, Cons: lacing system,

I liked these boots for the warmth and foot support but i didn't like the lacing system. good for beginners and boarders just starting

    • "Great Starter Boot!"

      , Seattle, WA
Pros: Great fit, Stays tight, Good beginner flex Cons: Soft flex not good at high speeds,

If i were to choose any boot to begin with, this is it. The comfort of thirtytwo with the lacing system of boa. The best of both worlds. The soft flex on this makes it easy to ride the groomers or get tweaked in the park. It stays very tight the whole day, and is easy/off. You will be the first ones in the lift in the morning, and not waiting for your friends to lace up their boots. I love this boot, and still occasionally use it for fun. Only one thing is that, I wouldn't use this as a powder or freeride board. It's soft flex makes it hard to control when your flying down the mountain at ballistic speeds. Otherwise, it's wonderful. This boot is a lot of fun and you won't be disappointed.
