These snowboard bindings have got nice leather straps, smooth operating ratchets, baseplate padding on the toe and the heel, toe strap that can be rocked over the top, or over the front as the new toe cap strap. Nice padding in the highback. The highback's also cored out to reduce the weight, and definitely still very rigid, very responsive for the heel side turns.
You've got a plastic baseplate, so it's definitely going to take up some of the shock you get from running icy hard pack terrain, rails, boxes, things of that nature.
