Plexus Quest Softshell
I am always wary of buying snow jackets online, but I am so glad I did! I am 5 ft 3, and usually wear either a women's medium or large. I got a large so I could layer under it, and I LOVE the length and fit. It's cute enough to wear day to day, but it has all the bells and whistles of a good snowboarding jacket. My only complaints are that the hood is not detachable and there are no wrist gaiters. Unlike some jackets, it is not bulky at all, and it has a pretty slim fit. I bought the gray one, and if I end up needing a second jacket, I would definitely get the purple one. Definitely great quality for the price!
I bought this as a jacket for spring snowboarding. I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship and fit. 15000mm waterproofing is a nice feature in a shell. I wasn't expecting to need that in a spring shell, but it snowed hard (who woulda thought it would in late March?) and kept me dry. I am 130lbs. and 5'9 and the fit is perfect around the middle, sleeve length, and body length. The color is a subtle lt. purple/dk purple herringbone. With some smart layering it will serve for 25 degree or better days. Snow did sneak in around the wrists because my spring gloves don't have gauntlets, but that is the ONLY flaw... no wrist gaiters. I wish they stocked the mens version as I would get one for my guy.
I got this for gift. It is very nice and fit perfectly on me. I'm planning to get the other color as well.
I bought an XS purple jacket and it's really pretty. Even though it's a softshell, it doesn't need too much layering since you'll eventually start sweating after going down the slopes a few times. The pit vents are so good. The only thing is that the sleeves are a tad long but that's not too big a deal with the wrist straps which can be adjusted.
I had some trouble deciding between the Plexus and Oasis, but I'm super glad I got the Plexus! The fit of this jacket is perfect - I'm about 5'5 120 lbs. and the medium was the right choice. It's roomy enough to layer under but it doesn't look or feel bulky at all. Just enough pockets and lined, so it'll keep you warm. Even though it's a soft shell, the material is really great and super waterproof. The herringbone print is also pretty sweet - the picture doesn't do it justice. Great jacket!
