any recommendations for an older surfer that "wants" to carve like a mother f in the bowl but thinks he rips more than he actually does ..... how is the alien workshop pink thing ??? , or the JT sector 9

I was in the same boat a few years back. Ripping bowls is pretty rad and once you find a line it'll give you an intense rush.

I'd go with the Sector 9 JT because it has a good width (9.25"), a flat profile, with a little kick in the nose/tail, and it has Indy trucks.
