Great beginner board to build your own
Super value in building our own setup. Tricked it out with some HOUSE stickers and some retro 80s neon trucks and wheels along with some checkerboard grip tape. Seems super sturdy...can't go wrong.

Bamboo is much more sustainable than maple.

Looking forward to trying out the "spring" of the bamboo board and little brother needed one too. (Great price - bought 2!)
Andrea M on Mar 6, 2014
My son has had three of these boards and they resist breaking better than other more expensive boards I have bought.
LORETTA S on Jul 17, 2014
The price was right. I was watching the same deck on Ebay for awhile and this one went one sale for less!

In the "specs" it says material is maple, and is 8"wide... But in features it says 110% bamboo, and 7.75"wide.... Which one do I believe!?!?? Lol
A shopper on Mar 12, 2014
Best Answer: it's a good deck...from what i remember it was all bamboo...maybe just the bottom was bamboo-i can't remember--it's definately a collectors deck though... i think mine was a 7.75. count on it being 7.75.

the bamboo at the bottom makes the board REALLY POPPy, but at the same time, having a board as strong as this can be dangerous on your ankles... they make normal skateboards how they do for a reason, to snap if landed on wrong. it's safer.

Are planet earth decks generally any good? Seems pretty good I mean brand name skateboards are pretty much all the same but just to be sure, is this a good deck? I hear bamboo is pretty sweet because it holds up well. Any feedback is appreciated.
A shopper on Jul 21, 2013
Best Answer: Hi,

I don't know very much planet earth brand for their decks, as it is the first one I bought from them. I bought it because I read good reviews of bamboo decks, as they are lightweight and have a good pop. This is true, I like this deck very much and it seems like it will hold up well, though it's maybe too early for me to say that as I only have it since 1 month now and I'm not an full time skater, more casual.
Hope it will help you.

How much does it weigh? And why is it that I can't find a weight for ANY board ANYWHERE? I know it's a factor in choosing the right board, so I think that's something that should be included in the description.
A shopper on Nov 20, 2014
Best Answer: Good Day!
Rarely will you find weight listings for skate decks. The size is what matters, and the components you add to it. All of this will fluctuate its weight significantly. That said, this Planet Earth PE deck will on the lighter end of the spectrum. I will in the future keep an eye out for specific weights, and add them accordingly.

Do they put the grip tape on?
A shopper on Sep 8, 2013
Best Answer: The Planet Earth PE skateboard is deck only. Grip tape needs to be purchased separately and you will need to apply it. Check out our tutorial at

hey everyone,
I'm just getting into street/skatepark skateboarding. I have a longboard and penny board so now I want to get a real skateboard. With this being my first I want it to hold up through trial and error. Is this board good for learning? Is it good for pretty laid back skatepark riding? I won't be doing huge drops, just practicing ollie's and some flip tricks maybe. It's only 20 bucks so I don't really care if it isn't the BEST board, i just don't want it to break in 5 minutes. Any feed back on this deck and what I can do on it is much appreciated.
PS- I have size 11 feet and weigh 170 pounds.

Best Answer: Got this board for my son. He's been skating about 12 years. He loved it! Very nice, sturdy board.

What are the widest low rider
trucks available?
A shopper on Nov 30, 2014
Best Answer: Hey,
First, I am really sorry your question got delayed. These Tensor Mag Lo Trucks 5.25in are the widest we offer: though you may be able to find some as wide as 5.5in. Something like this: Destructo Raw Mid - Silver/Silver - 5.5in

Hi I am looking for a deck for my english bulldog puppy who loves to skate board. Need a wide short one. What size is this board??? Can cut down if needed. Thank you. Kim
Kim C on Jul 1, 2013
Best Answer: That's pretty awesome that your Bulldog skates! The Planet Earth PE Skateboard is 7.74 inches wide and 31.75 inches long.

A majority of skateboards are all around 31" in length, but the vary greatly in width.

If you're looking for a wide skateboard deck check these out:

1. Creature - Navarrette Highlander - 8.8" x 32.5" -

2. Santa Cruz - Roskopp Face - 9.5" x 31" -

3. Darkstar - Icon - 8.5" x 31.X" - Foundation - Star & Moon - 10" x 31.X" -
