Wanted a demin Jacket that fit snugly. But it turns out that I went a size too small and the jacket wouldn't wrap around the hips if I had a butt pad on.
Is indeed waterproof, but the surface denim layer soaks up some moisture anyhow and freezes up if it's cold enough, still saps away some heat carrying all that ice around.
