Pros: warm, plenty of pockets, good lining Cons: to big, boring looking,

Nice and comfy and warm, lining feels good and looks good, but way to baggy and plain looking

  • "Nice and Bright (Yellow), Warm and Comfy"

    , Melbourne, Vic
Pros: Light and comfy, Keeps you warm, Simple yet functional design Cons: No pocket for goggle,

Love the color (yellow) and design (simple). Keeps me warm and dry on the 'wet' snow. Would be great if there is a pocket to put goggle.

  • "Big ups to the Session Primo!"

    , Healesville, Vic
Pros: Great colour, bright - but not too bright, Great fit generally, good cuts, Warm, good pockets, good construction Cons:

Bought this jacket for $100US. Cant fault it in any way, and was happy to see a Large was a Large which can suck when buying online. Awesome jacket, awesome service!

  • "Sessions at it's best"

    , AKRON, OH
Pros: Pockets for days, Warm, Super waterproof Cons: Be sure to size down,

I normally wear an XL, 5'10/215lbs, but based on my last Sessions purchase I went with the L. Perfect fit. Warm, lightweight, not too long, and best of all it looks way better in person than it does on the website.

  • "Great jacket for the $$"

Pros: great for the money, Cons:

I am a male 6'0 and 210lb I normally wear a XL in shirts and jackets I read other reviews and saw it fit bigger, so I got the Large and it fits perfect. Nice looking and plenty of pockets. Great jacket for the $$ I paid $60.00 one day sale am glad I got it.

  • "Top jacket"

    , Tingalpa, QLD
Pros: Awesome colours, Warm, Recco (if your into it) Cons: Cuddly,

Awesome colours and warmth appears to be made well got it quite cheap so happy with that. The jacket is very large around waist but nice around shoulders, I know it's s baggy fit but probably a little too baggy around the waist for me

  • "Sessions Primo"

Pros: Sharp Looking, Warm, Cons: BIG,

I ordered this jacket in large, it was WAY too big. I returned it and reordered it in medium because I love the look. Good jacket but like I said it's definitely big.

  • "sick jacket"

Pros: awesome colour/pattern, lycra wrist warmer things, extremely warm! Cons: really long,

When you see this on the sessions website it looks really shiny, luckily it doesnt look like this in real life.. looks awesome. a bit baggy but I prefer it like that. Definitely a good buy

  • "Nice and Warm"

Pros: Warm, Thick, Cons: Not enough pockets,

Was afraid that it would of been too shiny going from the web site. But it wasn't and looks really great

  • "good jacket"

    , Bloomingtion, IN
Pros: very durable jacket, fits right, Cons:

This jacket is great for the price. im 5'10 165 and I chose the medium, the jacket fits fairly well with a little extra baggyness which I like it is quite comfy but also the fabric that is used to make it very high quality. This is my second jacket from sessions and it wont be the last.

  • "Primo-ium"

    Pros: color, fit, warmth/waterproofing Cons:

I got an XS in the yellow, it looks amazing- my friends never lose me on the mountain. I usually wear a S (5'7, 135lbs) but I downsized to an XS since these type of jackets seem to run big on me. Let's start at the top of the jacket and work our way down. Hood- has a ridge that keeps the top of it from falling on your face, but too small to wear over a helmet. Neck- fuzzy fleece right in front of the mouth, nice and warm. Sleeves- great inner layer that ends in a thumb hole/half hand cover, keeps the snow out, nice cinches on the sleeve end. Pockets- not a lot of room inside, but enough for phone, wallet, keys. Outside pockets small too but enough room for trail map, granola bars, etc. Overall very warm (probably the only part of me that was warm on a low teens day) and waterproof- have worn in near whiteout, cloudy day, balmy day and performed very well. A little tight if I wear a fleece underneath.

  • "Sessions FTW!"

    , Scarborough, ON
Pros: Great Price for teh features , Great design, Nice and Bright (got the citron) Cons: Nothing,

Sweet jacket, just the right amount of warmth to wear either by itself on a warm day or throw on some coldgear under on those especially freezing days. I have always loved session's softgoods and how theres always so many pockets, gaitors in the right places and just the general amount of innovation/intuitive thinking that they put in their gear. Top notch as always and this jacket is no different. Grab it while you can!

  • "Bang for Buck!"

Pros: Warm!, Great for the $$$, Simple Style/Elegance Cons: Maybe too warm for Aus conditions?,

I got the studio white. It looks great. Clean white with green thread that just stands out. Could do with another pocket but then again my pants have plenty to make up for it. The jacket is pretty damn wamr, but that said I don't feel the cold as much as most. I would have preferred a non-insulated jacket, as this material is kind of shiny and puffy. Should have gone one size up for a baggier look, but at least it's very comfortable.

  • "Nice Jacket"

    , Sydney, NSW
Pros: Looks Good, Very Comfortable, Warm Cons: Sleeves a bit short,

I'm very pleased with this jacket, it looks great and is very comfortable. It seems like good quality. The jacket is a baggy fit but I wanted that style. It's very warm and the arm vents are good on a warm day. I like the colour, I got the turf green one. The only downside is the sleeves are too short for me, I can't use the thumb hooks because it cuts into my hand. I am tall and have long arms however.

  • "LOVE IT!"

    , Sydney, NSW
Pros: Quality, Fit, Design Cons: I only ordered one,

Let me just start by saying I live in Australia, so to the conditions here this jacket is PERFECT! Not warm enough to cook me on a spring-ish day (we actually have no snow during spring) and not light enough to freeze me on a cold day. The quality is what you'd expect of Sessions, very good. The product seems well thought out with pockets on the right places and zippers that won't cost you valuable riding time. It does what it's supposed to do and manage to make you look stylish whilst doing so. I got the black striped one and it looks awesome! I'm tired of everyone wearing really crazy colours so I went for a more conservative look this time (prob something to do with me being over 30 now! lol) and I'm very pleased with what I got! Can't recommend it enough, especially if you're lucky to get it on the staff pick sale like I did.

  • "jackrt"

Pros: good fit , zippers good, lots of pockets Cons:

I always look for good construction this jacket has it

  • "Terrific All-rounder"

    , Melbourne, Vic
Pros: Super warm, Great Design, Cons: Lack of pockets,

I normally wear a M/L, and after reading a few reviews got this jacket in a medium. I prefer a bit of extra room to move, so the M is perfect. But for those who don’t like their jackets too baggy, might want to downsize on your usual size. It is a great jacket season round, will keep you warm/cosy whatever conditions Mother Nature decides to throw at you. Would benefit from a few extra pockets tho. But great jacket overall!

This is a great jacket to wear in almost any weather. Keeps you very warm. I usually wear L-XL so i rodered the Large and it fits me good. It does tend to be alil bigger so people might want to consider downsizing when buying this jacket. I highly recommend to anyone.

  • "Good Jacket"

    , San Jose, CA
Pros: integrated glove liner, headphone holes on both sides, Cons: will not fit helmet,

This is a well designed jacket with breathable waterproof material and inner pockets on both sides with headphone access holes. There's a dual button style waist strap lined with rubber band like material to keep the snow out. There are zippers under both armpits for ventilation and lots of adjustable elastics for the perfect fit. Integrated glove liner in the sleeve, RECCO reflector, and what appears to be an old school handkerchief in the left inner pocket are nice touches. The 10000mm fabric claims to be able to withstand 33ft of water in a 24hour period before the wearer gets wet and some critical seams are tapped shut to further prevent moisture from soaking through. There is one oversight in the primo's design: the hood will not fit over my medium sized helmet. I can try to stuff it in, but head movement is so restricted it's not worth using.

  • "Seriously impressive sessions"

    , Greymouth, WTC
Pros: Soooo warm, Pockets galore, Pass pouch Cons: Stains easily (yellow),

First time buying Sessions gear and I'm seriously impressed. The quality of the material and the thought that's gone in to the pockets and pouches is reassuring. The Yellow however did get badly stained by a rope-tow in NZ so be warned if you're a messy rider! Quite a large fitting jacket which I'm fine with but a slimmer person might need to go for a size smaller. Overall, thumbs-up though!

    , Georges Hall, NSW
Pros: Light weight, Great colours, Cons: Not sure about waterproofing,

Got this in the staff picks. Great price, was not sure what to expect. Make of that fluffy puffy jacket stuff, but only slightly puffy. Not sure how waterproof it would be, supposed to be 10000/8000. Great as apes wear, not so sure on the mountain.

  • "The Vivid Blue Looks Awesome"

    , Brisbane, QLD
Pros: Warm, Cool colours, Ninja Hands Cons: Sleeve length could be a tad longer, Only one inner pocket,

I wish it had another inner pocket, but the one you see in the picture is all there is. It has plenty of outer pockets, and a semi-inner pocket next to the zip. This is the main reason it lost a star for me. The sleeves are a tad too short for me when using the hand bits on the end. My arm length is 80cm from shoulder top to my knuckles. It's a very warm jacket and not too baggy, fits very well.

  • "Great All Round Jacket"

    , Brampton, ON
Pros: warm, insert in hood so does not block vision, Cons: sleeves about 1 too short,

Rider Profile: 6ft, 215 lbs. I usually wear an XL in other jackets, but reading the reviews of some others, i opted to buy a Large for a non baggy fit. Sizing down to a large, the jacket fits perfect for a loose fit. I took this jacket to weather that was about -10 degrees C (sorry american friends, google the conversion) with windchill, it was about -15 to -20. i wore only a baselayer thermal and was toasty all day. i have also taken it to warmer temperature riding and the pit zips allow you to cool down. There inside zip pockets on the left and right side with earphone ports. The left breast zip is side accessible without undoing your jacket and comes with a goggle wipe. the jacket also includes hand slip with thumb holes. i found that since i sized down, these were not long enough and are overstretched because my arms are too long if i try to use them. Lastly, i was in pretty damp/wet snow for a good 4 hours and although the outside of the jacket was notiecably wet, i was bone dry on the inside, so it has excellent waterproofing.

  • "Pefect Jacket"

    , Melbourne, Vic
Pros: Super Warm, Enough zips and storage space, Inner layer that goes over thumb and into gloves Cons:

Got this jacket on the staff pick sale and have to say its unreal best $60 i have ever spent. Thick enough to keep me warm on the coldest aussie snow day! But not too thick that im going to boil during the early spring snow sessions! Heaps of zips and places to store belongings safely. Personally im a huge fan of the inner layer that goes over your thumbs and into your gloves.

  • "Sessions Primo !"

    , AL
Pros: its not too thick and keeps you warm, Cons: not many pockets, baggy,

I followed the description of the product as I too am similar to Mike M's profile (I am 5 Feet 8 Inches and 160lbs. I wear this jacket in a Medium for a normal fit and Large for Baggy Fit.) So I bought a large for baggy fit but i think its just on the verge of ridiculously baggy. Medium should have been better. Apart from the bagginess, the jacket looks sick, its not too thick and it keeps me warm !! not many pockets but i dont need that many pockets anyway. I bought this when it was on sale so although it's baggy, i dont regret it that much. 4 stars for style, warmth and looks, missing 1 star because of baggy and lack of pockets.

  • "Looks great and fits great"

    , Brampton, ON
Pros: looks great, lots of pockets, price Cons:

I got this jacket on the staff picks days and it was a great price. A large fit me and I am 6' 215lbs. I prefer jackets that aren't too baggy so I went with a L. Normally I wear XL but usually XL is baggy. The jacket is versatile with a lot of pockets but it is a bit thin. The coldest I took it out on was around 0C. I was warm enough but I don't think it would work as well in colder temps like -10C. Layering is a must with this jacket in colder temps

  • "Great Jacket for Different Conditions"

Pros: Warm on cold days, Ventialtes well on sunny days, Looks good Cons: Not enough large pockets, One button came off quickly,

This jacket feels really good no matter what the mountain conditions are. The fabric inside the jacket feels really warm when its needed, but the jacket can be really well vented on those spring days. I usually don't bring a lot up on the mountain (board lock, phone, keys, etc.) so this jacket works for me. But it only has two pockets on the outside, so the pockets fill up fast. Only real problem was that one of the buttons fell off before I took it up the mountain even once (kind of an insignificant one that I don't really notice). A couple of specific features I liked on the jacket were the built in hand liners that saved my a$$ on a cold day when I forgot my glove liners, and the hood large enough to fit over my helmet. Its durability is kind of in question because of the button thing, but I would recommend getting this jacket for anyone looking.

  • "What a Jacket!"

    , Vernon, BC
Pros: Warm, Looks Cool, Comfiest jacket i've owned Cons: Bit too baggy around belly hides body shape!,

This jacket is awesome, It is a tad big around belly and chest (I'm 59 and 160bls. and brought the medium) Really warm jacket with well placed pockets and even headphone spots. This jacket is extremely comfortable and keeps you toasty. If you get too hot just open the vents and you get nice cool air to your armpits. For $60 this jacket is a must for your collection.
