"Good Jacket"
Pros: Warm,
Cons: Small, Not Durable,
I wore this for less than a month and it ripped. I tried sending it back and the company said they couldnt do anything about it. Luckily I got it fixed and still have it. Its a great coat, just a little small in the arms for me.
-
"awesome"
Pros: waterproof, comfortable , warm
Cons: none,
This is one of the best jackets that i ever bought, the color is great i got the vivid blue, also the vest is great but the rainbow strips aren't, it has alot of pockets, and also the fit i graet not to tight not to baggy, i really recomend it. its 62 cold prove(6 with the vest and 2 without the vest) Really a great choice
-
"nice features"
Pros: Recco, Av Whistle, Mittens
Cons:
This is a great comfy jacket, at a great price! I love the whistle on zipper, as well as the mittens built in. Plus, the Recco gives u some peace of mind as well. for this price get it.
-
"Love it"
Pros: Color, fit,
Cons: none,
I love this jacket! I buy a new one every year and this is my favorite by far. I love the colors, its really comfortable and most importantly keeps me warm!
-
"Best jacket I've owned!"
Pros: removable vest, built in mittens, warm
Cons: none,
This jacket is truly like having two jackets in one. With the vest in, it is really warm. If it's a warm day, you can remove the vest and keeps you just warm enough. The fit is perfect and looks great in black. I recommend this jacket to everyone.
-
"Great jacket"
Pros: warm, plenty of pockets, thumb holes
Cons:
I got this jacket from my brother who bought it. He found the thumb holes annoying so he gave it to me. The vest is missing but I love the thumb holes personally and enjoy the pocket space. The hood covers my helmet when it gets really cold so that's a major plus. I think if I had the vest I'd only wear it if it was snowing out.
-
"Awesome."
Pros: Warm, Great fit, Everything
Cons: None,
There's a reason it's number 1 on here. It fits great, not too baggy. It's warm and can be used on hot days without the vest. It's just well thought out. Love the attached mittens and I'm really happy with the jacket. I got the orange stripe..wasn't my first choice but it actually looks better in the flesh than on screen, loving it now.
-
"Awesome jacket"
Pros: Thumb sleeves, Removable inner soft liner,
Cons: Dodgy elastic join in hood,
The thumb sleeve ensure that the sleeves dont get hitched up when you come off your board. The soft inner liner is removable so you can take it out on those warmer days and just have the waterproof shell. Only issue I had is that there was a join in the elastic that goes around the front of the hood which was only a few stitches of cotton and eventually broke.
-
"Sessions Ignition Jacket 2010 "
Pros: color, a lot of pockets,
Cons:
Awesome jacket. I wore this while at whistler when a couple storms hit and stayed warm all day long.
-
"thumbs up for sessions"
Pros: extra tech , good thickness.,
Cons:
this is the ultimate jacket for those who arent into the burton rubbish. suprisingly when i got this i noticed a couple things about the jacket that made it stand out. the main zipper actually has a whisle so if you ever are stuck in the mountains or need help you can use it. the other thing i noticed was the ricco system thing that is supposed to some how locate you on the mountain. i dont know if it really works but its a good idea. i am very happy with this jacket.
-
"So warm!"
Pros: Warmth, Pockets, Sweet Color
Cons: Ripes kind of easy,
I got this coat back in October and used it for a season i caught a tree on a double black and riped the back my wife fixed it in no time and it looked fine still warm and you can spot someone in a crowd with this jacket!
-
"Great Jacket"
Pros: warm, maneuverable,
Cons: little big,
Great jacket for any condition. Has a removable vest that will keep you warm on the cold days and has vents in the arms to cool you down on the hot days. Rocco avalanche system is pretty cool, but I hope to never use it. Plenty of pockets for all your stuff and pretty sweet design. Highly recommended if you want to step out of the Burton box.

"Great jacket"
Pros: Plenty of pockets, Removable Vest,
Cons:
Great jacket for any condition. Vest to keep you extra warm also has vents in the arms to cool you down on the hot days. Plenty of pockets for all your stuff and pretty sweet design. Highly recommended!
-
"Alright!"
Pros: Decent features and pockets, Bright!, Decent waterproofing
Cons:
This jacket is pretty good. It's definately a lot larger than Burton's sizing, even Burton Team Fit. But large is a good thing in this case, it keeps the snow out. The little mittens in the sleaves are pretty funny, and they'd actually be really useful at keeping your sleeves from riding up if they were bigger and could go right over your normal gloves or mittens. The colors are bright!
-
"Solid Jacket"
Pros: Warm, Comfortable,
Cons:
This jacket is definitely worth the money. Easily the best snowboarding jacket I have owned.
-
"Insane Jacket"
Pros: Comfy, Hot, Fits nice
Cons:
Bought this as a gift for my brother and ended up buying one for myself. This is the most comfortable jacket out there, no doubt about it. Recommended to everyone!!
-
"BEST JACKET"
Pros: Warm but with great coolling vents, looks great, Features-powder belt-stash pocket-wipe
Cons: thumb holes slightly small,
After having DC,Volcome, wind river and many other jackets, and buying this jacket, i will never buy another jacket that is not sessions. I love this jacket, its a cheap price for something so good
-
"Jacket Review"
Pros: Nice fit, vibrant colors, Very warm
Cons:
This is a awesome jacket that has great color and a nice fit that you wont get caught up in riding down the mountain. No worries in purchasing this.
-
"Sick Colors and Design"
Pros: Design, Color, Comfort, Warm, Recco system, Lightweight, Ipod holder, lots of pockets
Cons: the lining in mine ripped a little,
Overall, i would definitely recommend this jacket. i have the tang color and have gotten many compliments. the jacket has alot of pockets and is fairly warm. great jacket for the price. the multiple ipod pockets. lightweight.
-
"Excellent"
Pros: excellent quality, lots of big, easily accessible pockets, insulated vest is awesome
Cons: you may have to size down, you may not like the colored stripes on vest, built in mittens don't stay tucked in when not in
A well designed piece of gear. Plenty of huge pockets, insulated vest, great build quality, lots of extras (a whistle!). It has built-in mittens that are awesome, but when not in use they are hard to keep tucked away. It's such a minor little thing, though, that only knocks my overall score down from 100% to 99%.
-
"Great, Cheap Jacket!!!"
Pros: Very Waterproof!, Many Pockets, Stylish
Cons:
With a great price , i don't know why you wouldn't buy this jacket! I bought this last year as a light conditions jacket and it was great! It will keep you dry with it's 10k waterproofing and 8k breathability. It is pretty warm with it's lining and looks great on the slopes! Finally, is that if there is ever an emergency, there is a recoo avalanche detector which comes in the form of a Whistle Zipper
-
"sick!!!"
Pros: warm/comfortable, stylish, makes me look cool
Cons:
the price is unbelievable for this jacket!! you cannot beat the prices.
so comfortable, extra pockets, very high quality product!
-
"Great Jacket! Love it!"
Pros: great color, snow skirt to block out snow, mittens!
Cons: none,
i love this jacket, it has everything you want in a boarding jacket and fits perfectly. I wanted to go with yellow/black at first, but was pleasantly surprised by the kiwi/navy color. looks great and cant wait to board in them!
-

This jacket is pretty sick. Its pretty awesome in design, and image. I definitely recommend this to anyone.
-
"awsome"
Pros: warm, comfy
Cons: big,

-
"Ignition is on the money"
Pros: Removable vest, Hand Gaiters, Fits just right (nice and baggy)
Cons:
This jacket is awesome. It fits just right, has a removable vest so you can board on hot and cold days in comfort, pit zips, ample pockets, inbuilt mittens, hand gaiters, etc etc. Plus it looks awesome.
-
"Great Jacket"
Pros: warm,
Cons:
Loving this jacket, keeps me super warm on cold wet days at the snow. The mittens attached to the sleeves are a great idea for when you can be bothered throwing your gloves on. The inner layer for your thumb to go through is also a plus as it stops snow going up your arms. Heaps of pockets and a whistle on the zip. This jacket also came with a vest which is great for layering
-
"Would buy it again"
Pros: Hidden Mittens, Hand gaiters, Removable vest
Cons:
This is a brilliant jacket, I got it in Turf Fatty Strip and it looks great. Well made and has the right amount of pockets in the right places. I love the built in mittens and the gaiters. Being tall i've always had a problem with the arms of jackets coming away from my gloves but the gaiters solve this issue. I would defiantly recommend this jacket and would buy it again.
-
"Sick jacket"
Pros: Comfy , Stands out , Very well made
Cons: Face coverage can be slightly loose,
Bought this jacket for my trip to NZ was great very comfy, warm and def stood out on the mountain which was good on a busy mountain for friends finding me when we had no phones, Strong sturdy zipper and all round very well made the thumb holes were great for keepin snow out all in all couldnt recommend this jacket enough and for what i paid was a great buy!
-
"Great jacket"
Pros: looks great, keeps u warm but not to hot,
Cons:
love the way it looks and also kept me warm in the coldest days the jacket fit perfect and i got many compliments on the mountain
-
"sweet as!"
Pros: inner vest, zip whistle , good hood area
Cons: ipod pocket is hard to access while wearing vest,
wore this jacket (black magic style) while skiing and snowboarding a week back. served me well as a shell, wind was no problem. Fits relatively well (bit on the baggy side) . Zip whistle makes for some good fun whenever a rave party breaks out. Collar has some good material that kept the chin and neck warm even without a neck warmer.
-
"Best Jacket I have ever owned"
Pros: MITTENS!!!, All the features, Waterproof
Cons:
This is THE coolest jacket I have ever owned! The mittens are so sweet! Now I don't even have to buy gloves! If you are on the fence about this jacket, or just looking, BUY IT. I can't believe how cheap I just got this awesome jacket, 50% off. Please buy it. Im so stoked to go out on the mountains now!
-
"Great jacket!"
Pros: Great color, Removable vest,
Cons: Sleeves not insulated,
Great jacket if you like the baggy look. Cool colour, not sure about the builtin mitts.. not sure if it would keep you warm..
-
"Sessions Jackets All you need"
Pros: Stand out from crowd, Smart Jacket, Everything you need
Cons: Not enough spots on the pros side,
This jacket is awesome, it has so many pockets for everything that you need. Smart jacket, with the Recco rescue system built in, whistle on the zip and snapaway storm skirt. Mittens could be handy if you ever lost the glove, and the removable vest makes this jacket suitable for all conditions.
-
"Great jacket for the price!"
Pros: Super warm, Removable vest is a great idea for hotter days,
Cons: Mesh pocket got owned by my car keys.,
Bought this and only got to try it over this past weekend opening season. Jacket was awesome fit and warm! Only gripe I had was I nearly lost my car keys in the mesh pocket after they tore a hole in it, although I guess if I'd realised it was mesh I wouldnt have put them there. Thumbs up otherwise!
-
"Awesome Jacket"
Pros: Color, Large amount of Pockets, Mittens
Cons: Nothing,
This jacket is awesome, it has so many pockets and is really warm. Has the removable vest inside and wicked mittens that tuck inside the sleeve when they are not required
-
"pretty nice"
Pros: nice quality tons of features,
Cons: little smaller then xxl,
sweet jacket but little smaller then a true double xl. love the features and pockets but not to fond of mittens. pretty tight jacket though, defenitly recommend
-
"We have Ignition"
Pros: Mittens attached, Warm, Vest included
-
"Such an Awesome Jacket"
Pros: Pure Awesome,
Cons: None,
Such a sweet jacket. Perfect in all conditions, if its too hot just take the inbuilt vest right out. Inbuilt mittens and wristwarmers are great. Avalanche whistle on the zipper is fun, probably used more to annoy others, not many avalanches to be had in Australia. Fatty Blue Stripe is an awesome colour as well. Love it.
-
"awesome jacket"
Pros: cool vest, light shell, dope hidden mittens
Cons: wish it zipped open from bottom up, slightly too baggy,
love the plaid on this, has a cool little whistle. lots of pockets and the mittens inside look like they can come in handy. if i lost a glove, i could still survive the day.
-
"SIIIKKKK!"
Pros: Dry, Warm, Looks Great
Cons: Chest pocket is lame,
Awesome jacket
love the fit
plus recco is awesome
comfortable and doesnt feel like a rain jacket
-
"Great Jacket"
Pros: Vest (optional insulation), Looks cool, waterproof rating
Cons: mittens,
1st of all, I'm female but was looking for a baggier fit jacket. I picked this up because it got great reviews and I loved how it looked on my friend. I haven't worn the jacket with the vest, as it was already spring once I purchased it but the jacket on it's own is great. It's a great shell that has well placed air vents and keeps me dry. It fits on the baggier side, so if you are looking for a more fitted look, you may want to size down. My only complaint is of the mittens, I have to say that I hate them. They fold into the sleeve and are bulky and awkward. It's annoying to get your real gloves on when they are in the way, but what I dislike most is the black soft material which stick out on the sleeve. They absorb water like a sponge. But if that's the only problem I have with them... I can live with it. I've worn the vest on it's on and it's very cool looking and is definitely warm. I can't wait for next season to start again so I can pull it out of the closet.
-
"Stand out on the mountain"
Pros: Great Graphics, Good for Spring Riding,
Cons: Sized too big,
Friend has this jacket and usually wears a size smaller than me, but when he put it on definitely was bigger than he expected. I tried it on myself and found it to fit me perfectly. Would recommend it, but go one size down.
-
"no good"
Pros: nil,
Cons: Bad quality material , falling apart after having it for 3 weeks,
The jacket is obviously not been made well or in China. I purchased this Jacket about 2 weeks ago and is already falling apart. Stiching in the arms is all coming apart and is no good.
The mittens in the sleeve was a good idea but looks stupid and get in the way of your gloves. very un-happy with purchase
-
"Sweet Jacket"
Pros: Removable Vest, Hidden Mittens, Thumb Holes
Cons: None,
I got the Blue Fatty Stripe colour and im happy as with it.. Fits wicked across the shoulders but nice and baggy at the same time. The thumb holes are a cool feature as well as the removable vest. Would definitely recommend this jacket.!
-
"Get this jacket!"
Pros: Detachable vest for warmer days, Thumbholes and built in mittens, Great design
Cons:
I got this in Turf Fatty Stripe in a M and am really happy with it. The jacket is warm enough for most days without requiring too much layering and is fairly light for a 10k/8k. The mittens are useful for when it's cold but you can't be bothered putting your gloves on, and easy to use with an ipod. Would highly recommend this jacket, got it cheap but still well worth it at 50% off
-
"Love It"
Pros: Warm and protective,
Cons:
I bought this jacket used from a friend and boy did i luck up. Jacket is warm yet lightweight and absolutely love the design. Cant lose with this one
-
"The best"
Pros: Great Color, Recco Sys,
Cons: None,
This is one of the best jackets that i ever bought, the color is great i got the vivid blue, also the vest is great but the rainbow strips aren't, it has alot of pockets, and also the fit i graet not to tight not to baggy, i really recomend it.
its 62 cold prove(6 with the vest and 2 without the vest)
Really a great choice
-
"Great jacket"
Pros: Good fit, Cool mittens built into the jacket, Sick colours
Cons: Non that I know of just yet.,
Just recently bought this jacket yet to take it out for a run on the slopes but can't wait for snow season in aus.. Fits well and has awesome features with a detachable vest to keep you warm with the ability to stay cool on those warm days.. Awesome colour I got the tang Aston which goes well with my board. Built in mittens for when you don't need your gloves.. Pocket for your iPod or iPhone so you can listen to tunes anytime.. I am 6.1 and weigh about 80kgs and I have no problem with the medium.. Even has a whistle as part of the zipper if you ever get lost or just want to get someones attention.. Alround awesome jacket really happy and can't wait to try it out at the snow.. I'll write another review once I try it out..
-
"Ignition Tang Aston"
Pros: Heaps of Pockets, Colour, Removable Inner
Cons: Larger than expected,
Yet to test seems like a great all round jacket. For those warmer days the removable inner vest should come in handy. While the numerous pockets will provide heaps of room for storage. Colours are great.Built in mittens should also work a treat.
-
"Ignition Sessions Medium - Tang Aston Plaid"
Pros: Feels warm - yet to test in the snow tho, Mittens are cool,
Cons: Brown squares not black as I'd thought,
Jacket seems good (yet to test). Mittens are awesome idea. Also has thumb holes in inside of sleeve, to hold the sleeve down if you were to bail id assume.
Only problem so far is I thought it was black white and orange - its actually brown, white and orange, so not as cool looking as expected unfort. but think i'll survive.
-
"Nice jacket!"
Pros: lots of pockets, price, comfy,
Cons:
This is an awesome jacket! Keeps you very warm. Detachable lining for warmer days. Plenty of pockets. Not too thick, not too thin. Just right for any occasion.
-
"Vivid blue fatty stripe"
Pros: Baggy fit, Wicked colours, Lots of useful features
Cons: Bright! not for those who want to go incognito,
The snow hasn't arrived in Aus yet, but the jacket seems good. Lots of good little features - built in mittens, thumb holes in the cuffs, plenty of pockets and a removable inner vest. Fits a bit baggy, but not too much so. Is fairly light - more like a shell with a built in vest - but would probably be ok with some layering under, will post a more detailed review once its been tested in some feral weather
-
"Bit big"
Pros: 7 on the warn scale, will never get wet inside, plenty of pockets
Cons: HUGE bastard,
nice looking jacket, if it wasnt for the size issues i'd say perfect, removable inner if its to warm, great purchase
-
"Aston Kiwi is a head turner!"
Pros: Cool color, Built in mittens, Inner lining is a vest
Cons: Elastic waist liner is difficult to get to,
I bought this jacket in Aston Kiwi not knowing what to expect. I thought the bright neon green color might be a bit too bright. Turns out its one of my favorite jackets. You can't go wrong with the built in mittens. They fold away when you don't need them too! There's also a whistle on zipper for avalanche safety! I will say the elastic waist liner is difficult to get to when you want to button them together- the inner vest lining gets in the way. Otherwise a great jacket! If you're considering this jacket, i say say give it a shot and just take advantage of thier great return policy if it doesn't work out.
-
"Black Magic"
Pros: Sweet lookin jacket, Vest looks really cool ,
Cons: A little baggy,
The jacket is just a little on the baggy side, but other then that it rocks! The black magic jacket comes with a vest with black, grey & white stripes unlike the bright jackets where the vest has rainbow stripes. It would probably wouldn't keep you that warm if you were at 12K during a white out. But with less colder conditions it seems it would be perfect.
-
"Tang Aston Plaid"
Pros: Thumbholes and mittens in the sleeves, Rocco avalanche system, Removable vest
Cons: Fits too baggy,
Great jacket for any condition.
-
"This jacket has everything"
Pros: Warm, Looks great, Lots of pockets
Cons: Cons? What cons?,
I'm 6'-1, 160 pounds. I normally wear medium but I got this in large and it fits a bit baggy (as it should for my size), but in a good way. This jacket has everything! Plenty of pockets, place for an MP3 player, and an avalanche safety system (that I never plan on using). The removable vest gives versatility too. I have the Kiwi plaid and it looks awesome - very easy to spot on the mountain. The thumbholes are great to keep the sleeves tight and it has built-in mittens that easily fold out of the way. I really like this jacket and would definitely recommend it, though the style may not be for everyone.
-
"My First Sessions Jacket"
Pros: Comes with awesome detachable vest, Thumbholes on sleeve, Easy to spot on mountain
Cons: not sure yet,
I branched out and tried a new brand of jacket and so far I'm pretty stoked. I got the kiwi plaid after trying on various ones. While doing my fashion show the collective group of customer service, sales, programmers etc all thought the kiwi aston plaid looked way better in person. The vest which we need to get a picture of was a big hit. Super style, and perfect light down layer to knock around in.
