I have owned a lot of headphones throughout the years from studio to noise canceling to in between as well as vast variety of different brands, and I have got to say. I have never been so satisfied with a pair of headphones before. I still have a pair of the older version of these the Skullcrushers and it is a vast improvement. These are more durable, the battery unit is located within the ear cup which is really smart so that it is not dangling around on the cord like the previous model. These also have, hands down, the BEST bass I have heard or in this case felt, because you can definitely feel it.
There is a slider so you can adjust just how much bass you want to hear if none at all that combined with the best audio range I have heard in a single pair of headphones. They are comfortable as well as amazing to use while gaming. The only downsides is that I do wish the cord was a little longer, however it is at pretty much a standard length and these are NOT meant for skateboarding, snowboarding or working out. They are great headphones but if you skate with them and fall theres a chance you could break them and they will not fit inside a snowboard helmet. For skating, snowboarding or working out your best bet would be a cheap pair of earphones, these are mainly for relaxing or walking and for everyday use.
It does have a microphone on the cord, however, I do not really use microphones so I do not know the quality of the mic
