Bart?omiej W asked: How long is this jacket? Is it ok for casual wear? Slim fit sounds nice but how is the length? I have Special Blend Ninety Five Snowboard Jacket Kelly size L and it has great size but I need smth without down insulation. Jun 21, 2013

Roy MStaff: The Special Blend Venom is going to have a back lenght of 33 inches, and have a looser fit with plenty of room for moving freely without constraint. The Venom jacket is really classified as a snowboard jacket due to it's baggy fit, snow gaiters and non removeable hood. When searching for a versitile casual jacket you need only 3 things. A coat that has a natural color or earth tone, offers enough space underneath to layer clothing for bitter cold weather and lastly a classic profile with minimal flare like zippers, silver buttons or branding. The Venom hits all of these criteria and still leaves you with money to buy matching gloves and a hat. Jun 21, 2013

Roy MStaff: Bart - Brooke is correct that as a technical shell this Special Blend Venom jacket will be quite thin and lacking insulation. However it is designed, as all shells, to function as a layering piece. Personally I prefer technical shell due to there versatility in that I can ride in it one day and wear it to work the next. Peter G: I didnt end up keeping this jacket, it was really nice but it didnt fit me right. The slim fit was really slim. All in all it probably would have been fine for casual wear as well as on the mountain. I went with a different special blend coat that fit well and I love it. Jun 23, 2013

Brooke P: I bought it for my boyfriend which is about 5'10 and it hit him upper to mid thigh. I actually sent this jacket back because i didnt realize how thin it actually was going to be. I think it would be fine for casual wear. Hope this helps. Jun 24, 2013

Timothy B: I am 6'1". For riding , I wish it was just a little longer. This is a great jacket for the price and is a good choice for casual wear as well. I think I have a xL but I will need to verify. Jun 23, 2013

jacob los asked: is there enough insulation in this jacket? Also, I am 6'4 and skinny, will this jacket fit well? Nov 28, 2013

Peter G: Unfortunately I had to return this jacket, I didnt notice the different fit and ordered the wrong size. It seemed like a really nice jacket thought, and I ended up getting a different special blend jacket that was a shell and I love that one. It is actually really warm without any insulation. Timothy B: The jacket isn't heavily insulated. It's a good outer layer and plenty warm with a good baselayer. It isn't overly baggy so get a size up to accommodate your height and arms. Nov 30, 2013

ryan k: It's a slim fit jacket. I'm 6.3 @ 200lbs. I wear with a nike cold base layer. I likes. Nov 30, 2013
