How warm is this jacket (i.e., what does 100g mean)? Also, what is more waterproof, 10,000 mm or 40,000 mm?
Bruce G on Jan 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The higher the number for water proofing the more water proof it is. We ski in Southern California which means there is more likely a problem with wet snow than to deep of powder :-). So we choose coats and pants with a minimum of 15,000 water proofing (although if you ski and aren't sitting on the snow you could probably be fine with 10,000. This jacket was purchased for my 14 year old just before a trip to Colorado. It was -10 degrees and he says his body never got cold and he loves his new coat.
does this jacket have a dual zipper?
