The Salomon Kiana Snowboard Boots have a flirty design that will make you feel fun while on the slopes. The Toasty Toes feature of these boots will keep your feet very warm from the chilly snow, while the high calves will keep the rest of your leg warm and secure with extra support. The lacing of these boots is a One-Pull Quicklace Liner so you do not have to spend time trying to lace up your boots.
Key Features of the Salomon Kiana Snowboard Boots:
I always had trouble finding a boot that fit my narrow foot. These boots are amazing. The cc design on the heal locked in my foot and gave no heal lift at all. The slightly lower back ensures they dont cut into the calf muscle through the day. My previous boots gave me grief after an hour of boarding, yet I can wear these boots all day, everyday with absolute comfort and warmth. They're like slippers on the inside. The lacing system takes a bit extra time at the beginning but once done they won't budge, no need for annoying adjustments throughout the day.
I love these boots. I've had several differnt pairs over the years, but I always come back to these. Riding 80 days a year in these boots is not a problem and they are heat molded on the inside to hold your foot just right. My feet never get cold and the locking lace system is very fast and efficient. No more waiting around adjusting constantly. Set it and go
I wear these boots in 6 size while my normal street shoes are a size 7. They were pretty snug (borderline uncomfortable) at first but they are now perfect after breaking them in (not loose, not too tight). Although I went 1 size down from my street shoes, it may not be the case for you so make sure you get fitted at a board shop before buying these! The only bad thing I can think of about these boots are the lacing system. Lacing the liner is annoying so I completely gave up on trying to tighten it. The main lacing takes a while to complete but it does a really good job keeping the tightness for most of the day. Prior to these pair of boots I own, I had the Burton Casa and these Salomons fit so much better for my feet. Super comfortable and warm. The performance is really awesome too. I just started out with park and I mostly board on groomed snow (from the East coast) and these boots are good for any conditions! I think its worth every penny!
