I got these Salomon Rhythm Bindings and love them. For the price they're a great buy. My boots fit snug in them and they allow for a lot of easy adjust-ability.
I bought them to put on my Gnu Park Pickle that I got a couple years back. That board is fantastic with jibs and rids the mountain like a champ as well. It is a little on the pricy side though.... I also have a Capita Stairmaster that rides jibs and the park well too that is a bit cheaper than the Gnu. Try checking out some of last years or the years before models of some boards if you're trying to keep the setup under 300 I would suggest.
Hope this helps!
Both your Volkl Squad snowboard and the Salomon Rhythm Bindings here use the 4 hole mounting system, and will be compatible.
First off, your size 8.5 boots would fit best into size medium Salomon Rhythm Snowboard Bindings.
They Salomon Rhythm Snowboard Bindings would not fit onto a 125cm Burton Chopper Snowboard because the binding discs are not compatible with the 3D mounting pattern.
If you need a new board, you should get one. I can make a few suggestions. How much do you weigh? What type of terrain do you ride the most: Park, Powder, Groomed Trails? What is you ability level; beginner, intermediate, advanced?
