Staff Review

This is the Rossignol Cobra snowboard binding. This is the ultimate combination of performance and value in our snowboard binding line. We start with HCX base plate. The HCX base plate incorporates extruded heel cup technology, and what that means is, this heel cup piece is actually a three dimensional hallow extrusion. It makes it very light.
What you're going to find is that makes it about 15 percent lighter than a conventional construction, but it's also very rigid. Like you'd find in, say for instance, a mountain bike crank. It makes it 50 percent more rigid, which means more response, more strength, more durability, better performance.
You'll also find 3-D HSFI instep straps. It's a fully injected, three dimensional instep strap. Very comfortable, lightweight, NRB-back light. The Rossignol Cobra snowboard binding.

  • "Comfortable, but..."

    ,
Pros: Light, Good support, Cons: Screws come undone, Poor craftsmanship, Parts harder to find

While these bindings are very comfortable, I actually had the side snap (the metal part), so I'm not so sure I trust the materials. Also, the screws tend to come undone easily, and can come off while riding if you don't tighten frequently.

Pros: Nice response, Forgiving, Cons: Can't think of any,

First pair of bindings, tried them with the Sierra Reverse Crew. I'm VERY pleased. They hold nice and provide nice support. You can also adjust the high-back to keep it parallel with the board. I'm a newbie so I tend to ride very aggressively. These bindings don't seem to mind it. Awesome product.

  • "Rossignol Cobra"

    , Vernon Hills, IL
Pros: Sturdy, Comfortable, Easy to Use Cons:

These bindings are very comfortable and very durable. No scratches or dings, the high backs are very nice. The straps are adjustable and have 3D molding to fit the contours of the boot. Great bindings.
