  • "very comfortable and no gaper gap"

Pros: very comfortable, good ventilation, has edges to help hold goggle strap in place Cons: the goggle strap clip was an afterthought, built-in audio version is much pricier,

My favorite helmet along side my pro-tec vigilante audio and it was much cheaper. Pros: good ventilation for even those spring riding days, good padding design makes it very comfortable to wear, helmet actually has a channel design on the sides and back to help hold goggle straps in place, stock ear pad setup has removable foam and is zippered to easily install REDphones audio headphones Cons: the version with built-in audio is a lot pricier than just buying this helmet and buying REDphones to install yourself and I still can't figure out why, the ratcheted strap is a bit annoying because you can't simply unclip it like normal straps and i really don't understand since the rest of the chin strap has enough adjustability for any head it seems, and lastly, the goggle strap is a simple piece of plastic that you slide the goggle strap under and is supposed to hold them in place. First, the clip faces with the open end down so straps slide out somewhat easily, and 2, it wouldn't have been much more expensive to just put a flexible strap with a snap on it like smith/pro-tec helmets. Overall it is a great helmet, comfortable, has saved my head multiple times, and is already set up for accessories. For those of you that may not know, RED is a Burton brand and I advocate the use of quality helmets for anyone and this is a good one from a well-known brand.
