no idea. I needed snowboard pants, and ya'll are selling 'em. Plus they look cool, and I think I'm cool, so it should work out.

2 questions about the "Black Denim" Color choice:
1 - Is it more grey than solid black? It looks that way, interesting and different.
2 - Is it a waterproof material or feel like denim?

Sorry if that's dumb, just curious.
A shopper on Jan 25, 2014
Best Answer: 1 - It's solid black. All of my gear is black, except for my dark gray boots, and you definitely saw the contrast between my gray boots and the black pants. Whereas the pants matched well with my black jacket, thermals, gloves, and helmet.
2- The material feels thicker and weightier than my previous shell (in a good way, in my opinion) but it is certainly waterproof. I took it up to Whistler/Blacomb earlier this year when quite a bit of powder was dumping and these bad boys kept me dry and warm the whole time (even at the start of the trip when it felt more like California slush than powder).

I'm very happy with the purchase.

How heavy are these pants?
A shopper on Jan 25, 2014
Best Answer: Like a heavy shell or light insulated pant. Not as light as gore tex with no insulation

I have the Ride Georgetown Insulated Snowboard Jacket in poppy red and it has a denim grey on it. How can I find out if its the light grey denim or the black denim? i want my pants to match the jacket.
Jordan S on Dec 12, 2013
Best Answer: Hi Jordan,

Can you send me a product page link to the Ride Georgetown Insulated Snowboard Jacket you have? If we still have your jacket in stock I'll see which color of the Ride Phinney Insulated Snowboard Pants match better.
