Courtney L: I ordered the small and it's too big for my 8 year old who wears a size 8. I would say it's probably a size 10. I would think an extra small might be a size 8. I will just keep the one I bought for next year. It's a very nice jacket. Hope that helps. Nov 1, 2013

Jessica G: I bought my eight year old son a small. I would say that an extra small would be suitable for a 6-7 year old depending on what size they currently are wearing in regular clothes. Nice jacket. He can hardly wait to wear it on the slopes. =) Oct 29, 2013

Darlene K: I would say it's about a size 6. My son has a size small--he's 8 and it appears to be true to size, if a bit small. So if your son is a true 6 for instance, you could probably go with size small--he'll get a couple years out of it. Oct 20, 2013

Courtney L: Do you wish you had gotten your 8 year old a size medium? My son is also a size 8. 65 lbs. 54 inches tall. I was going to get him a small, but am now thinking about the medium. I don't want it to be too big because we do ski in it, but I want it to fit. Thanks! Oct 21, 2013
Darlene K: Hi! I just reviewed my order and realized I ordered an x-small. I would go for the small. I wish I had. Sorry for the confusion!

Mia R: I bought a small for my 8 year old son and it's way too big. He is an average size for his age. Oct 29, 2013
