Dave here at The House, talking about one of the most comfortable snowboard boots in
Ride’s line, also one of the most convenient ones to use. We’re looking at the
Ride Anthem Boa snowboard boots here.
Starting off, obviously, we’ve got the Boa lace cable. Super easy to get in and out of. Doesn’t loosen up throughout the day, you’re not going to tear your hands up like you would with traditional lace. This one’s got really clean skate shoe styling to it.
Ride’s going to be really good at reducing the overall volume of their snowboard boots, say you have a size 12, it’s actually going to be the toe to heal length for most companies, and most companies 11 snowboard boots. So, with that you get less toe and heal drag. Really nice heal counter in this one. The ball runs through the separate flap right here.
What that’s going to do? It’s really allowed the in step area of the snowboard boot to snug around your foot, giving you really good heal hold.
Got a rubber sole on this one, really good on icy hard pack terrain, hiking around. From there, move into their liner, this is their plush foam liner. It’s intuition foam so it’s completely heat moldable, body heat active, just wear them around and they will get more and more comfortable the more you wear them. Secured with their really cool lace toggle, super easy to get on and off, and then when you’re done with it, click it right into place on the tongue, stays where it needs too. On this one, has really good, deep Achilles’ pockets, it’s going to give you really good heal hold, and along with the J-bars it’s going to keep you in the back of the snowboard boot where you’re suppose to be. Pretty basic insole on this one, it’s got some perforation, it’s going to let the ‘funk’ escape, so that along with the Agis antibacterial coating it’s going to keep these snowboard boots smelling fresh for many years to come.
