  • "Decent Boots..."

    , Oxnard, CA
Pros: Sturdy, Inexpensive, Warm Cons: Overly Big, Lacing System, Heavy

I got these boots because when I tried them on in the shop, the fit was right and they were secure...not so much on the mountain. After my first run (and every run after) I felt like I had to tighten up the boots. The lacing system just doesn't hold up to a lot of movement. If that wasn't enough, these boots are heavy and feel too big on my feet. After a day of riding, I felt like I was wearing cinder blocks on my feet walking back to my car. The build quality is solid, they're cheap (2009's) and they kept my feet warm, but I still would not recommend them to anyone.

  • "Pretty Decent"

    , REDWOOD CITY, CA
Pros: Simple, Comfortable, Cons: Loosens, Laces Fray,

I bought and used this boot all of last season. These were my first set of boots that were mine. They were comfortable. The did pack out a little too much for my liking, but just pulled the laces as much as i could. These boots were very quick to put on and take off. Very simple to use, and did the job in a very quick and efficient manner. Although they were quick to put on, i found my self tightening the speed lace system after every run or every other run. One of the downsides was the after the season of ride, my laces frayed on my right foot. I ride regular and when sitting on the lift, i used my boot to hold up my board, so my edges started to cut the laces. Other than that, they were pretty decent.
