Nathan asked: Do these rims work on 20 in. Sapient bmx bikes? Like the lumino and the saga. And will it work with a 2.40 tire on a sapient also? Jan 22, 2014

Lannie EStaff: Depends on the year model Lumino you have, but will definitely work with the Saga. Some Luminos were designed with a 12mm axle drop out, so if you have one of those then no it will not work. But the front wheel will not work with the saga unless you get the adapter washer to fit the 14mm drop on the front fork. Jan 23, 2014

Nathan: I got a lumino last christmas (year ago) and it is like a midnight blue and is somewhat sparkly. Well if you look closely you can see that it is sparkly Jan 23, 2014

Lannie EStaff: The wheel set will work if the drop out is 14 mm. Take it to your local bike shop to double check before buying. I can't give you a definitive answer based on the color unfortunately. Jan 24, 2014

Chris A asked: I bought these rims and over nighted them because I'm going to Camp WoodWard and the discripton said that the front rim had a 14mm adaptor on the front axle and there is no adaptor. Can someone tell me if I just don't get how the adaptor works or if its not there? Jul 17, 2013

Lannie EStaff: The adapter if there is one for this wheel will be a hook washer with a 14mm lip that sits on the inside of a 14mm drop out. Oct 15, 2013

Chris A asked: What tires should I buy for these rims? Jul 16, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Roy MStaff: The tires that you want with the Xposure Mid Wheel Bike Wheel will depend on your riding. Street riding you'll want a smoother tire and knobbier for trails. It can accommodate up to a 2.40" tire. Jul 16, 2013
