awesome little bike for my son
i bought this bike for my son for his birthday to replace a mirraco pre18 he had been riding for about 3 years. extremely light, very sturdy, and he loves it. i assembled it myself and the only issue was that the headset was a little tight to the point that the bars didn't turn freely, threadless headsets are new to me so a couple of youtube videos later i had it sorted out.

price was of great consideration since i know he might only use this bike for a couple of seasons before he outgrows it. this ripper jr. isn't the newest model but not much changes on established bikes besides the paint scheme-i'm totally cool with buying an older model to save a lot of bucks. that price cut makes it the least expensive aluminum frame kids race bike i could find and that sealed the deal for me.
