Here is the SE Lil Ripper BMX Bike. What's in a name? Well, in this bike, the name "Ripper" stands out. Maybe it's because this bike is so fast and light. Martin T: I love this little bike I got it for my 6 year but I have a 9 year old that steals it away sometimes its very light and pretty durable the only complaint I have about it are the brakes since it only comes with a rear brake and the cable adjuster and nut are poor quality other than that its a great bike I would buy another one if needed. The distance from the seat to the handle bars is a bit more than other models but you could allways pull back the handlebars a bit, it maybe a stretch for a small kid Nov 11, 2013

NATHAN B: Hi:
I have done extensive research when I bout this bike. Considering built quality, light weight, and price this one was the logical approach . I have compared this bike to LikeAbike bikes which is on the high end of aluminum frame, tires, and price (close to 500$). And the little ripper comes pretty close for les than half the price .
Now my girl 6 yr love this bike more so than my son 5 yr old . I think the frame is suitable in dimension at least .

Andre B: it's the same height as any other 16" bike, but I could see the length being an issue at first. the distance between the seat and handlebars is greater than what you would find on typical 16" bikes. if your daughter can already stand and peddle she will have less of an issue. also something to consider is that she'll have to be prepared to use a hand brake only, which could be a challenge for smaller hands. Shaun B: Depends on what you'd consider to be light weight. This bike is fabulous and my son loves it, and he is also 4 years old as well but taller than most kids his age (43"). This bike would be suited to any youngster in my view especially considering the angle if the top tube, and ease of raising/love ring the seat.

I hope this helps you in making a decision.

Jeff C: This frame should be okay. I got this for my daughter on her 5th b-day. It's all about height this bike will be taller and longer then a 12" frame. I had to cut the seat post so it would go all the way down so she could sit on it. She loves it and the free stuff you can choose from The House is quality. Hope this helps Nov 11, 2013

Patrick C: The bike is still a little big for a 4 year old. I don't consider the difference in gender. If the bike is set up right(adjust bars and seat) and she is a strong and capable rider, she could easily handle this bike. I think it's a great value and should last well beyond her needs! Mark SStaff: To be honest any bike with a neutral color is ok. Guys normally ride neutral colors and so do girls. I would advise getting a bike with a neutral color cause they are easier to sell after the kids out grow them. The Size of the SE lil Ripper is a good size for your daughter. Nov 22, 2013

John S: My son has an 18 in inseam and is 45 in tall. He has excellent control over the bike even though it is still a little big. He is able to ride trail with it because it has a hand brake instead of coaster break. Very good quality. Lightweight. Rides like an adult BMX. Nov 11, 2013

Lannie EStaff: The SE Lil Ripper would be my first choice for your daughter due to the neutral color of white. I would also suggest the Gt fly in grey and red being that are somewhat neutral colors also. Nov 25, 2013
