  • "My son loves this bike!"

    , North Augusta,SC
Pros: Comfortable,Great Value,Handles Well, Cons: The bike would be better with heavier duty rims. My son loves to hop and jump stuff.

I bought this bike for my teenage son. He had always wanted a bmx style bike, but what he wanted was not in my budget. When I found this bike online, he was skeptical because it is bigger than the typical bmx style bike. After his first ride, he was in love! All of his friends are amazed that he can do everything that they do on their smaller bikes. My son is six feet tall and the Sapient Titan fits him great!

  • "Sweet bike for the Price"

Pros: Comfortable,Great Value,Handles Well,Stylish,Responsive,Easy To Ride,Versatile,Smooth Ride, Cons: kinda heavy could use better brakes

The bike was very easy to assemble, and the free gifts were an added bonus! My wife loves the sunglasses and skull cap. Great bike for an old man like me to commute on and to chase the kids around.

I won't be doing any hardcore riding or tricks. Love the plain black. Nice looking but not too flashy. Jan 16, 2014

My buddy is 5'7" about 150 and he wants one for cruising, but thinks it might be big for racing. He didnt adjust the seat though... i think it would work well for you. Nov 18, 2013

Just imagine a normal size 20 inch bmx bike with a lift kit and bigger rims.

rebecca v: Well my son is 5'7 3/4 loves it. Says it rides fast comparable as far as pedaling in 2nd gear on a mountain bike. Love the store great products.. Don't know how old you are if you think you might grow a couple more inches soon might want a 26" otherwise go for it great bike and a great value Sep 18, 2013

Amanda K: I'm 5'9" and it's more than big enough for me. Eventually I'll put shorter handlebars on because it feels a little too tall for my preference. The top tube length is about an inch longer than most cruisers. Hope that helps. Sep 21, 2013

Mattew D: I have the same bike and im 6'3. It feels very comfortable to me. Depends on what you plan on doing with it. Maybe a little to big if u plan on doing tricks but if ur just gonna cruise it, it should be good. Sep 18, 2013

Mark SStaff: The Sapient Titan is a great bike for your size. If you are looking for a 20" bike you are going to want a 21" top tube. If you are looking for a 24" bike then this Sapient Titan is a good size Nov 29, 2013

Richard R: dude, you'll be fine with a 20" bmx, plus more parts are readily avaliable for 20".

Mark SStaff: The Sapient Titan BMX bike will work great for you! The biggest thing you will wanna look for when shopping for a bike (depending if you want gears or not) is the wheel size. You are going to want something 24-26" wheel size. Oct 16, 2013

rebecca v: Maybe you should get a 26" frame your a little taller than my son he's 5"8 fits a 24" well little more money but depending in your leg length prob a good choice good luck Oct 5, 2013

Chris s: Good bike quality good and for the money very nice. However if you want to be competitive this is not the bike. It's good for moving around the track with my kids and giving them a run for their money but when I get off the ground and have rough landings the handle bars slip and no matter how tight I get the neck they move. Race bike are also very light this bike is not so it takes a little more to get air.. But all that aside I love my bike and would recommend it to anyone. Feb 13, 2014

victoriano r: I'm 5'11 220lbs ( mostly muscle..lol ) and the bike seriously is perfect. standing on its own it looks a little big for a bmx bike but i promise you once i ride just the same. the size also make the bike much more comfortable. and what pretty cool is i received a pair of skull candy headphones and a (the House) skully with my order Feb 12, 2014

Becky C: I bought the bike for my son. He is 5' 10" and weighs about 140 to 150 lbs. He absolutely loves the bike. He doesn't race the bike, just jumps, hops, and does tricks. So I cannot say if the bike would be good for racing. The bike would definitely handle your height and weight. Hope this helps. Feb 13, 2014

Eric S: I would believe so.
I ride street with this and I say it's very light but sturdy.
Maybe some new tires and removal of the pegs will make it perfect for bmx tracks!

Jason A: This bike is good for kids age 6-16 and under 150lbs. It's made of Hi-Ten steel which is really weak. (I bent my forks first day).. I am 6 ft 3 and 240 lbs. This bike is big, but not strong. I would recommend getting a 100% chromoly bike from MirraCo or Specialized. You get what you pay for with this one.... Jan 27, 2014
