Can somebody tell me what the difference is between the saga and the sag pro...if there is one?
sam k on Nov 16, 2013
Best Answer: The only difference that I see is that the saga has a 13.75 rear end length and the pro has a 14. Also the saga has a mid bracket and the pro has an american. Not sure what difference that makes though. If I were you I would go with the saga pro, I have this bike and it is great for just riding around and doing some BMX.

What size pegs would I need and are the pegs included for the front or rear?
TJ S on Sep 9, 2013
Best Answer: This bike has 14mm hubs front and back, so the single pair of pegs fit EITHER the front or the back. You would need to purchase another pair of 14mm pegs or 3/8" adapters for the front. Most bikes now have 14mm in the back for strength and 3/8" up front for less weight.

If you grind on side, these pegs fit both front and back, but I would get new pegs because this simply twist onto the axles with no lock pin or lock bolt, so I'd be afraid that they will spin off under heavy use.

Is this bike suitable for a 9 year old to do tricks on?
A shopper on Sep 6, 2013
Best Answer: Riding the 2 thin tires that came with the bike was firm. I had to replaced the 2 original tires for 2 fat one ( Front= 20 x 2.35 Rear=20 x 2.25 ) to matched with my weight (160 pounds). It helps a lot for doing bunny hop or jumping or any of the other tricks. I felt like riding with cushions and shocks on my bike. It is suitable for a 9 years old. I recommend getting this bike and remember to replace those 2 tires.

Does this bike damage easy?
A shopper on Jan 24, 2014
Best Answer: I bought this bike for my 13 year old about 9 months ago and it seems to be holding up well he jumps and stuff (nothing real big) and everything seems to be good I have even got on it to show him some tricks and I'm 6'1" and 230 and it is still good. Personally I feel it's a good entry level for someone who is starting to get into riding or only rides on occasion

A shopper on May 5, 2014

Is the complete blackened a matte black?
Brian on May 1, 2014
Best Answer: Yes it is. The stem, cranks, and sprockets though are a glossy black. Other than that the whole bike is matte black and in my opinion the glossy and matte colors go really well together.

does it come with pegs?
A shopper on Jan 24, 2014
Best Answer: It comes with one pair of pegs. Both front and rear axles are 14mm, so they fit at all positions, but they are only twist on, not bolt on pegs, so I'm not sure how sturdy they would be for grinding.

Why is the bike so cheap? Is the welding sloppy? Do the parts ware faster? even though the rims are double walled , are they strong? why is the bike so cheap?
A shopper on Aug 19, 2013
Best Answer: the Sapient Saga Pro is on sale right now from $500 to $249.95. We do not have to go through the same amount of shipping as other companies. Our bikes come from the manufacture to our hands. No one else is in the mix. So the price is able to stay down
