Tomas F asked: Hi, This ones has any insulation?? Why can I stay warm in the mountain?? Are these pants worse than the insulated ones or is this just a detail? I mean, is the insulation such important?? Thank you very much! Jun 2, 2014

Charles B: No, these are just shell pants. Insulation is like a fleece lining on the inside. These are basically just higher quality rain pants that are designed for snowboarding and skiing.

If you are deciding between shell or insulation, it's really up to personal preference. You don't need to wear anything underneath on hot days, but you can layer a pair of sweatpants or fleece pants underneath for those cold days. If you are looking for one pair of pants, go with a shell. If you only ski during the colder months, then consider an insulated pair.

Joseph F M: These pants have little insulation. They are great for mid/late season riding. If you will be wearing these pants in very cold conditions you will need to wear a layer underneath them. As long as you are prepared ahead of time, long underwear underneath these pants makes them usable in cold conditions. They are very comfortable. Jun 5, 2014

Paul R: I just wore thermals under and these pants and I was fine. Used them in Vail and Montreal. Jun 2, 2014
