The GT Zone BMX Bike gives a rider everything he needs to head out for the day and know he's going to have a good time. This bike was built to be fun and reliable but not break the bank. The frame and fork are made from Hi-ten steel to be durable and forgiving. It comes with tubular chromoly 3-piece cranks and a tight 25/9 micro drive system. Roll smooth on Alex G303 Aluminum rims and stop promptly with seat stay mounted U-brakes.

I have a 15 yr old that want to go on BMX trails. He's been riding mountain bikes for Quit a long time He always has been riding those bikes with the real skinny wheels but he want to get in to jumping and racing. He's 5'10" , 180 lbs. any suggestions on what kind of bike would suit him?

Is this a light freestyle bmx bike for bunny hops and jumps or is it heavy and more for dirt jumps?

Best Answer: The GT Zone has a standard weight at about 25lbs. If you are looking for a light BMX bike the price goes up as the weight goes down
