Do the tires come like that plz answer as soon as possible my sons birthday is coming up and he loves this bike is it also good for skate park usage?
A shopper on May 16, 2015
Best Answer: Hi!
The tires will arrive as pictured.... so the black version will have black tires and the blue version will have the 'gum walled' tires. Is that what you were asking? This GT ricochet BMX bike will be great in the park unless he is becoming a more advanced rider... or more aggressive. In that case you would possibly want to look at a full Chromoly frame. ex: http://www.the-house.com/qrasak20bk15zz-radio-bmx-bikes.html If you have more questions I am happy to help.... post here... e-mail me at tim.chesterman@activesportsinc.com or chat with our bikeshop: 1 (800) 409-7669.

I have this bike and wanted to know what I could do to make it for hardcore riding?
Joey W on May 5, 2015
Best Answer: Joey,

Unfortunately there is not a whole lot you can do in the way for upgrades to make this bike withstand the abuse of hardcore freestyle riding. Most hardcore bmx bikes are going to have chromoly frame fork and bars which is a stronger compound of metal rated for heavier impacts and hardcore riding altogether. The GT Ricochet has a hi-tensile steel frame, fork and bars which has a higher probability of bending or snapping. If you want a bike that will handle the abuse of bmx abuse look for Chromoly frame, fork, bars, and chromoly cranks.
