The-House.com Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Stanley M: Best Value Jun 10, 2014
Kristy W: I chose this bike because my son likes to do tricks at the skate park and that is what this bike is mainly for. Hopefully he loves it! Dec 9, 2013
Rhett P asked: I know you have specific bikes for racing on this site. But I am thinking about racing BMX and at the same time I have a skate park in my neighborhood, so I was wondering if can race this bike. I also noticed that there is only a 3 pound difference between this bike and some of the racing bikes? Sep 29, 2013

Mark SStaff: yes racing bike are meant for racing. so they are made of 6061 aluminum most of the time. They also have thinner materials for the bars and forks. The GT Fly is meant for skatepark use and light street. So its made of a thicker steel. You could go ahead and race on this bike. It wouldn't be the most ideal bike for racing. There really is not a cross over bike for the two. Racing bikes are designed for racing and dj/skatepark bikes are designed for dj/skatepark use. Sep 30, 2013

A shopper asked: Is the GT fly fast when you pedal? Do your legs get tired fast on it like some bikes? Do you know any websites where you can customize a GT? Oct 10, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (3)
Lannie EStaff: The GT fly bike will go as fast as you can pedal. It comes with a 25/9 drive train setup so its not really built for top end speed. Your legs tiring out from riding this bike is dependent on your conditioning and has nothing to do with the bike itself. there are no websites to try and customize a gt but you can go to the following link http://bmxcolor.narod.ru/main.html and change the colors on the bike to see how it would like with different parts Oct 10, 2013
