Why did you choose this?
The-House.com Store
I was originally just looking for a frame for my 9yo. Then i figured that i could get something he could ride during Christmas break and we could upgrade it later. Maybe get some things for his birthday.

Best Answer: My son is 13 and is 5'4 and its smallish but thats the standard size for a bmx bike, for an 11 year old i think it would be great and last a long time.

We know how much the bike weighs, but not the weight LIMIT. What is the weight LIMIT? (as asked before).
Chris E on Sep 10, 2013
Best Answer: The Gt Air as with any bmx does not have a set weight limit, but the recommend weight cut off is usually 220 lbs. You would have to get in contact with Gt Bicycles to see if they have an actual weight limit on their bikes.

How good is the one piece forged crank...I weigh 165 pounds...would it held f I take on some high jumps?...
A shopper on Jan 22, 2014
Best Answer: I do not recommend using a one piece crank for any kind of big jumps. You will most likely bend them out of shape. The Gt air is still a great bike for normal bmx use, but i would recommend a gt compe instead for big air jumps.
