Is this bike good for doing tricks?
Saad k on Jun 26, 2014
Best Answer: Bit heavy but good bike proportionally and cool looking. May do some upgrades to the bearings, but good for the price. Mine is purple which makes me feel cooler catching big air on dirt jumps.

I am thinking of getting this for my son who is 12 yrs. old and 5'3". He doesn't like the feel of the shorter to the ground 20" bikes, but I worry that the 22.7" top tube is too far from seat to handlebars for him to reach? Anyone know?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2014
Best Answer: Hey,
It recommended that for a 22.7 top tube that the rider be at least 5'2. Generally it is recommended for his height to get a bike that is between 18" and 21.5" Basically this bike will be close. I would honestly chat with our bike shop to get this perfect: 1 (800) 409-7669

what size should I get for my 13 year old son? j on May 22, 2015
Best Answer: How big are they? I would suggest a 20" for a teenager. I am 32 and ride the 24" because I'm old enough to not flex like I want to on a 20" box bike. Essentially the 24" was designed for older people still wanting to ride freestyle and have fun but where not comfortable on a 20". Most professional riders still ride a 20" for competitions.

is it a light weight bike?
Samuel P on Aug 5, 2014
Best Answer: This is my first 24" BMX cruiser so I don't have much to compare it too. When I researched cruisers the bikes made of chromoly or aluminum were about a half pound lighter but also a lot more expensive, I just use it to good around on really and have no problem riding wheelies or hoping up curbs in stuff. Seems like a pretty good bike for the cost, I have no complaints as of yet. Hope this helps

Are the stickers permanently on the frame or optional?
A shopper on Apr 13, 2014
Best Answer: The stickers are optional. They come pack waged and not on the bike. As well my bike came with two set of decals black or green.

I'm 6'1 does size matter?
Enachi on Feb 9, 2015
Best Answer: Depends on what chick you ask, lol! I'm 6'1" as well. Bike is perfect for what I need. I used to ride hard when I was younger. GT's, Redlines and old school Mongoose. Now I just cruise around the neighborhood with my kids. The only thing I don't like is the crank. It's pretty soft and loose. I'm going to replace mine with a heavier duty one for when I really want to hit it.

Can the wheel pegs come off? Does the bike still look good when they are removed?
Tom P on Jun 3, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Tom, You can remove the pegs on this bike if you like and simply secure the wheels with the nuts alone. In my opinion this bike will look great with or without the pegs attached!

Enachi on Feb 9, 2015
Best Answer: I won't go any shorter than a 21.5" top tube. The perfect length would be 22.5" and the Grenade B12 BMX Bike has a 22.7"! You're good to go.
