This Grenage Launch Pro X BMX bike has a mix of Hi-Ten and Chromoly parts. You can take this into the park, but it is really more for cruising and hitting features out on the streets. That is, for more aggressive and advanced bikers you will want something more robust (full Chromoly). Inexpensive example: mid-range: Advanced:

Hi I just recently purchased this my for my niece, it's to be too small for her. She is 5.4", just doesn't seem to fit her. Are BMX bikes suppose to be a smaller size fitment because of its designed to do tricks?
Marley on Aug 28, 2015
Yea, BMX bikes fit different that most any other bike. Pedaling from the seat is done less often, and yes the geometry is unique and designed for stunts. Along with that, their construction is quite simple making them sturdy and strong. A 20.4" Top Tube BMX bike will be good for up to 5' 6" according to Grenade. All that aside, if you are not happy with the bike please call our customer service specialists: 1 (800) 409-7669. They can help you, and give you options. I am sorry it is not quite right!
