Great Bike. Great Service
We were looking for an entry level BMX bike for an 8 year old and were looking for a little better quality than we could have purchased from a local discount retailer. This bike came in the mail quickly and was easy to assemble. My son loves it and I'm very satisfied with the quality of the bike. Fantastic bike for kids. Highly recommend this website!

Is it easy to ride up hills?
Tuntun on May 16, 2015
BEST ANSWER: It's meant to be ridden on a BMX track which does have some hills. So for those types of hills it's easy.
It does not have gears so you would not want to ride it up mountain trails. You would need a mountain bike for that.
The bike we are looking at says that pegs are not included. But everything is there to add them correct? I just want to make sure that we can add them.

If there are pegs that you like/want on our website you can put them on the same order and they will come with everything they need to go on the bike except the tools to put them on. If you take the bike to your local bike shop they can put them on for you easily.

I am 6 foot tall and I don't know what size of a bike is just right for me?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hi!
Sizing for BMX bikes is different than other bikes... you use your height to determine the top tube length. For someone 6' looking at a 20" STYLE bmx Bike, you will want a top tube of 21" to 21.5".
Examples: http://www.the-house.com/qcoend20legb14zz-colony-bmx-bikes.html or http://www.the-house.com/qsuarxk20mpts15zz-subrosa-bmx-bikes.html
What is a good age for this bike?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Judith's answer is good. Use height as the determining factor, and look at the BMX size charts on any bike page. A full 20" bike is better for someone like 5' and up. For younger and smaller kids there are 16" and 18" bikes that will be more accommodating. How tall is he?
Would this be good for a 190 pound person who's 5'10" just starting out?
A shopper on Jun 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey,
190 would be about the very max for this Hi-Ten Steel Impact Bike... and that would be more for cruising around. Look at a full Chromoly Frame.... it will be a bit pricier, but will offer the durability you require. All complete bikes are sold and delivered partially assembled. Final assembly should be done by a qualified bike technician. Failure to have the bike assembled by a qualified technician may void the warranty and could result in damage and/or injury if not assembled correctly.
