Why is there no brand name anywhere on the bike?
Austin K on Apr 28, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey,
These answers are correct! Grenade (and Sapient) want to have a more personal feel to their bikes, so the sell many of them as 'blanks' with an included decal packet for you to customize as you wish. As well, some people like them as blanks. Its weird and kinda neat at the same time.

i bought this bike thinking than when you said sturdy you ment sturdy, although i am a beginner weighing around 130 pounds... i intend to learn quick will i break the bike if i do i caveman, or some other "intermediate" tricks?
A shopper on Dec 2, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Hey,
Grenade's BMX bike are for the most part fairly simple. This Flare X is a Hi-Ten frame and the bike has basic componentry. It will not be the best park bike. For truly aggressive riding and heavy abuse you will want a bike with a full Chromoly frame and a higher level of components. Example: http://www.the-house.com/qsumal20gb15zz-subrosa-bmx-bikes.html or http://www.the-house.com/qwpcurs20brw16zz-wethepeople-bmx-bikes.html or price point: http://www.the-house.com/qfrattl20bkb13zz-framed-bmx-bikes.html

These are good answers. The Grenade Flare X BMX bike weighs 26.8 pounds... which I agree is not light. I'm 5'7" and 120 pounds. Is this bike good for me?
A shopper on Jun 8, 2016
BEST ANSWER: That depends on your purpose for riding. My son is 5'11 and a muscular 160. He bought this bike to ride around in the neighborhood and, so far, loves it. For longer trail rides, not so much; he has to use my husband's spare mountain bike. If you're hanging out with friends, just riding around, this should be fine.

How do u know what size bike u get?
A shopper on Jun 7, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
There is a size chart for general sizing on the page above the 'add to cart' button. Look under BMX bikes. A Freestyle BMX bike is not sized like normal bikes. If you are between 5' and 5'10" you could ride a standard 20" bike with a 20" or 20.5" toptube (this Flare X included). If you are over 5' 10" look for a bike with a 21" top tube. If you are smaller, an 18" BMX bike will be a better choice.
