How big is the sprocket?
A shopper on Jul 7, 2013
Best Answer: I would be more concerned with the one piece crank on the bike. I bought two bikes and had to replace the crank on both of them. However my kids are 5'9" & 160 pounds. The frame is good though.

They will void the warranty if you do not have a certified bike tech assemble it. They know there is an issue with the crank. . .I would ask them to upgrade it before they ship to you.

Best Answer: Quality and value is the same, only difference is small personal preferences. None of the parts are great by themselves but as a sum it is a great foundation to start from. And if you have preferences for specific parts you like to upgrade to, you'll save enuff with initial price to afford first upgrade.

What constitutes this bike as a beginner bike?
A shopper on Oct 8, 2013
Best Answer: My son took this bike to the BMX track and compared to the other bikes it would qualify as a beginner bike for a few reasons.
1. This bike is a bit heavier than the expensive bikes but alot less than a Huffy or any box store bike.
2. The brake system is a little less heavy duty.
3. The pedals are not the locking type used by the racers. The racers use shoes that lock to the pedals with a slide and lock system.

I do recommend this bike for the beginner. It looks like the real thing and performs safely. I wanted to make sure my kid sticks with the BMX thing before dropping $600

Plz comment weight and bike name.
A shopper on Sep 14, 2013
Best Answer: There really isn't a best bike for under a $150 that is gonna be better for doing trick at the park or for street. Most bikes in that price range are really a point a to point b bike with the novice level style of trick like manuals, wheelies, 180's and the other easy stuff.

If i had to pick one though it would be the Framed Verdict that weighs in at 25.04 lbs.

I got my bike shipped to me today and the front rim doesent fit into the fork it's only about a cm off. Do you have any solutions or do I have to go to a bike shop?
A shopper on Sep 13, 2013
Best Answer: All complete bikes are sold and delivered partially assembled. Final assembly should be done by a qualified bike technician. Failure to have the bike assembled by a qualified technician may void the warranty and could result in damage and/or injury if not assembled correctly. As an industry standard, some bikes might have minor cosmetic blemishes due to the nature of shipping.
Regarding the forks on your bike you may have to separate your forks by applying a little elbow grease (pull them apart).
