Description: Framed FX1 2X BMX Bike Gloss Purple/Gloss Black 20in

The Framed FX1 2X BMX Bike is a great bike for kids just getting started in BMX riding and tricks. With that in mind take a look at some of these key features of the bike like it’s tough HiTen 20.4 inch tube frame. The bike also comes equipped with HiTen forks, and 8 inch HiTen rise bars as well. There are many features that the Framed FX1 2X BMX Bike has that can’t all be mentioned here. For better durability and performance they use Shrapnels Fragment 175mm 1 Piece Cranks. One solid piece means there’s less of a chance of the crank arms breaking off during times of intense riding or high stress maneuvers.

These Framed BMX bikes come without decals applied. Each bike is shipped with a decal packet, containing a number of decals of different styles and colors. This allows the rider to customize the bike to their liking.

Ramon T: I personally own this bike & I would say for a beginner yes . However, it does come with a one piece crank so it would be recommended to make it a 3 piece for durability & better performance . The bottom bracket you would get to change it to a 3 piece crank is a 19mm American . To get you started it is good because it has a 25 tooth sprocket with a 9 tooth driver in the rear hub . It will help you get used to doing basic tricks, but this is strictly a beginners bike since it can't take as much of a beating as a higher quality bike can Oct 1, 2013

Eric M: Yes, but be careful how hard you land. So far the front tire and back tire tubes popped. Otherwise, okay. Expect to replace in the future. Make sure to put the pedz on the correct side of the crank. They are marked for the correct side. Oct 12, 2013

Lannie EStaff: The Famed FX1 2x Is an okay beginner bike for a park rider doing the bare minimal tricks. If you upgrade your wheels and tires to a higher quality you could get more advance with it. Oct 15, 2013

austin l: it doesn't have pegs so it wouldn't be good for rail tricks. but it would be great for a kid to learn ramp tricks with. its cheap and can be upgraded as needed, or as parts break. Nov 3, 2013
