Description: Minnesota 2.2 w/ Alloy and Bluto Forks Fat Bike - Womens

Introducing the new and incredible women''s-specific Minnesota 2.2 fat bike with the Rock Shox Bluto! We took the most popular women’s specific fat bike in the line-up and made it even better! We added the ability to change out the standard Alloy fork with other options to further suit your riding style and conditions. The MN 2.2 with a Bluto fat bike specific suspension fork will take you from fat bike to a true mountain / trail bike with 100mm of travel, keeping your tires on the ground and you in control. The addition of a suspension fork takes the vibration and hard hits out of the ride to smooth out the trail and cause less fatigue.

So what makes it so female specific? For starters, the women’s specific 15" or 17" frame with lower stand over makes for the ultimate in comfort and stability. Second, a shorter handlebar length to give you that ergonomically correct positioning. The saddle is the Velo Plush Women''s specific saddle, designed for performance rides with comfort. Thus creating a ladies fat bike ready for year round adventures from town to trail.

The MN 2.2 has a new wider range SRAM drive train featuring a full 2X10 gearing for easier climbing and more gear range. AVID BB5 mechanical Disc brakes to provide smooth stopping power. Traction is brought to you by FRAMED Minnesota 4.0, 120 tpi folding bead tires with lightweight tubes set up on our Aluminum alloy 80 mm 32 hole lightweight rims to reduce rolling weight and increase strength and performance.

The MN 2.2 with Alloy and Bluto fork; Comes standard with the oversized 6061 aluminum alloy fork AND the Bluto Suspension fork. The Bluto fork is not installed and should be installed by a certified bicycle technician. Most riders investing in a high-end fork will have certain riding preferences, such as your stack height. The last thing we want to do is make an assumption and cut your fork too short.

Can I swap out 4" tires for 4.6" tires on the women's 2016 2.2 fat tire bike using the Bluto forks?
Mona B on Aug 29, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I just tried to install Vee Rubber Snowshoe XL 26 x 4.8 studded tires on that very same bike. The tires fit perfectly on the Bluto fork however they rubbed on the chain when using the small chain ring. Maybe not all tires with the same width are created equal but I think a tire that is 1/10 of an inch smaller would still rub on the chain when using the small front chain ring.
can it handle a 4.5" tire?
dawn t on Oct 20, 2015
BEST ANSWER: The Bluto fork can easily handle a 4.5" tire. I am not positive it will fit on the rear though. I tried a V-rubber snowshoe XL 4.8" on the bike and the chain rubbed on the tire when using the small front chain ring.
