Keeping the rubber on the trail is of no concern with the Minnesota 27.5 x 3" tires strapped to 50mm wide rims. This Minnesota tire is same highly revered tread pattern found on the Framed MInnesota 26 x 4" tire. This head-turner is sure to empower every rider, from novice to advanced, to OWN the trail of their choice. The Marquette Alloy 27.5+ features BOOST spacing making this an ideal 27.5+ or 29er rig. We are still getting specifics about this bike from the Framed peeps. As soon as I get a specific weight I will be happy to post it. It will be right near 30 lbs.
Would a 4" wide tire fit these rims with enough clearance for the fork and frame?
Matt O on Aug 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
No. The 3" tire is about as wide as will fit on these bikes. For a 4" tire you need to move to a true fatbike: http://www.the-house.com/search.html?keywords=fatbike
