Description: Framed Lifted Flat Bar U-Brake Bike

This is the Framed Lifted Flat Bar U-Brake Bike, and you should have one. Not just because it's from the brilliant minds at Framed, but also because it's simple, clean and fast. We've seen the rise of the fixed gear bike and it makes sense. These bikes are simple to maintain and fun to ride. Framed takes it a step further, and gives this bike an alloy stem and a Hi-Ten steel frame and fork, which basically means this bike will last forever. Oh, and the Flat Bar U-Brake looks awesome too. I am new to this so I am a bit confused. Can you coast on this bike? Like, go down a hill without the pedals moving?
Morgan L on Sep 26, 2013
Best Answer: Yes Morgan, this bicycle is a free wheel single speed with front and rear brakes. Not a fixed gear bike. Worth the cost. Very good.

Hi. I am 5'10 and 270lbs. I am looking at the Framed Series Bike. This would be just to bike around the neighborhood with my son. I was wondering would this be the best one or is there another Framed Lifted bikes that would meet my needs?
jwp265 on Jan 29, 2015
Best Answer: Hey James.
I have the Framed Lifted 7 Bike... I got it last summer for the same purpose. I think that it is the simplest, and funnest bike I have ever owned. It is not super advanced, but I can ride it and forget about it. I think the the Lifted 7 may be perfect. http://www.framedbikes.com/liftedseven/

Hello, im 6'4" 204lb, it this will be a good size bike for me?
Chavdar P on Apr 9, 2015
Best Answer: I'm 6' and 170lb and I don't have many issues. Although you might want to upgrade the tires, I had multiple flats within the first month. Recommended tire pressure for the stock tires are 65-80 psi max and I put some Serfas (120 psi max) on there and haven't had many issues since.

I am 5'8" with a 29" inseam. What size will i need or is it too big?
Shane S on Apr 19, 2016
Best Answer: Hi Shane,

I'm afraid the sizes we offer will be too big for you. The inseam will be around 33" which can be problematic for your size.

I am confused about what size to order. I am 5' 11" with a 30" inseam. My road bike is a 54 and a 55cm. Can you offer some guidance on proper fit for a fixie for city riding? Thanks.
Jake W on Apr 13, 2016
Best Answer: Hi Jake,
The 56" will be the largest you would want to go, but it would work. The 52 would be too small.

Do you carry this bike in the gray and orange color as well? If so when do you think you will get it back?
A shopper on Oct 14, 2015
Best Answer: Hi,
Even though Framed lists the Gray/Orange colorway as an available option, they really are not producing any (We have sold our last). There will be updated versions of the Lifted Series of bikes featuring new colors some time this Spring I am told.

Do you ever plan to stock the framed lifted with coaster brake again?
Jim N on Sep 8, 2015

Framed, I believe, is deciding to redesign this Lifted Series bike... for the time-being we will not be able to re-order any of them.

Are you guys out of the orange/gray lifted single speed? 58"
Thx greg
Greg A on Aug 22, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Greg,
I wanted to check with the Framed guys themselves.... so sorry for the delay. We are out of the Grey / Orange colorway (my favorite). Framed says they will be releasing a 2016 version of the Lifted bikes later in the year... that will feature some new colorways.

I am looking for Framed Lifted Flat Bar U-Brake Bike S/S - Grey/Orange in a 58cm size, but it appears to be out of stock. How soon before it is back in stock for me to order? Thanks.
Erick on May 14, 2015
Best Answer: Good Day Erick,
We sold the last of our Orange and Grey 58cm frames. To be honest, we received a very few of this version of the bike... I reached out to Framed... I doubt we will be able to re-order the gray 58cm version. For that I apologize. We do have a 58cm frame in the Red version.

Is the gear ration on this 1:1? What are the chances of getting it 'custom' geared in a 2:1 or 2.3:1?
A shopper on Apr 18, 2014
Best Answer: The Framed Lifted Flat Bar comes as a single speed. If you want to do any Custom work to the bike you would have to do that on your own. we will not ship a bike custom
