David C: coaster brakes are like the ones you had on your first bike as a kid. you backpedal just slightly and the brakes engage. to stop quicker, you apply more back pressure on the pedals.

this is my commuter bike, so I actually like the coaster brake for its simplicity.

Evan H: The brake engages when you pedal backwards. No handle bar brakes. Makes for a little lighter bike overall and looks cool with no wires or anything sticking out. This is a single speed so no gear shiters either. I love this bike it cruises really fast and looks sharp also. Dec 30, 2013

James J: Coaster brake is built into the rear wheel hub. You actuate it by applying back pressure on the crank and that slows the rear wheel down. The more pressure applied the more the braking action. Dec 30, 2013

Greg C: Based on your height and inseam, your range is going to be 48-52cm. As Roy stated a 49 or 50cm would be best fit, but a 52cm should be fine. Aug 16, 2013
