Framed Impact 20 BMX Bike
put it this way I can ride a mile real quick do dropouts at 3-5ft and this bike is sturdy but let me tell you right now that the rims are garbage the first time I bunny hopped the back rim sprocket started skipping and then it stopped and I flew off replace it asap I repeat do not try jumps without checking the back rim and just look at the binding of the rim, with that being said this bike is perfect, I'm 18 weigh 130 and I've had no other issues besides the seat post clamp not wanting to tighten much (White@red) variant

Is there a gyro on this bike? Basically you can do a 360 with the handle bars
A shopper on Sep 18, 2016
There is not a gyro on this bike. The Impact 20 does not have gyro tabs either.
Is there a manual to build the bike?
A shopper on Sep 19, 2016
The bike will arrive about 80% assembled, and some finish assembly will be required. There is not a manual included for building the bike. Please take it to a local shop to finish the assembly.
Is it easy to assemble?
A shopper on Sep 18, 2016
In the end it is not too bad. The handlebars, front tire, pedals, and seat need to be put on. More important however, everything on the bike needs to be aligned. Failure to have a qualified bike tech finish the build and align your components can ruin the bike, cause injury, and will void your warranty.
Does it come with
A shopper on Sep 19, 2016
It will not, but it requires only basic tools. I suggest you have a local shop finish the assembly..... It is easier than you think to mess up a bike.
how long does it take to receive the bike if its back ordered ?
loudaddie on Sep 12, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The Framed Impact 20 BMX Bike will be shipped off the day that it's received, which is speculated to be on 10/21/2016. Once the bike is received in our warehouse, it'll be shipped out, but... it really depends on what shipping option that you chose. Check out the shipping page HERE;
Pegs for this bike?
Kody S on Sep 15, 2016
You could put pegs on this bike, though it is a fairly simple ride. It would require a 3/8" in the front and a 14mm in the rear. Any pegs fitting those specs would work.
Is it a free coaster?
A shopper on Sep 15, 2016
No. This Impact 20 uses a freewheel hub.

A shopper on Nov 2, 2016

Why is the bike put back another 7 days??
A shopper on Oct 28, 2016
I spoke to our logistics people and to the Framed guys themselves. There was indeed an error with the manufacturing process, and Framed is working to get these bikes shipped out asap. I understand this is frustrating.... We could swap in the Rasta color option for the backordered color you have selected. It would ship out tomorrow?? I do apologize for this delay.
can you change the sprocket to a smaller one?
A shopper on Jan 30, 2017
From our bike shop: Changing the sprocket on the Impact is possible. However sizing down in the front sprocket without sizing down the rear freewheel will lower the overall speed of the bike.

Luicasss on Jan 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: it's pretty loud when it's new but it fades a little as you break in the bike. it sounds pretty cool though.

How big is the frame?
Anthony on Feb 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Anthony,
This bike uses a standard 20" BMX frame with a 20.5" top tube. This is typically ideal for someone about 5' to about 5' 10".
So I'm a little confused by the sizing of bmx bikes. My nephew desperately wants a BMX bike for Christmas and I'm not looking for anything fancy in any way. He's pretty timid on bikes and while he won't admit it, I know he just wants to "look cool" (he's too scared to take his bike off the curb. ha). He's 10 and about 4' 8. 20 inch sounds small but it seems like this is an adult bike. What size should I get him? I want something he can grow with for a few years in case of a growth spurt.
Sara E on Dec 9, 2016
Indeed BMX bike sizing is weird. The standard 20" BMX bike is great for someone from about 5' to 5'10" depending on your style. Your son, I imagine, is still growing which poses a problem. An 18" BMX bike will be an ideal choice for him... for now. Look here: If you want a bike for him to grow in to.. then here:
