I would defiently give this bike a thumbs up.
Like for the frame and stem?
I can't say for sure because I bought it for my 11 year old son who weighs 90 pounds. My 300 pound, 5ft 11in husband did ride it around though, if that helps. ;-)
The answer to your question is no because this bikes a freestyle bike.
You have to look into buying a race bike which are usually much lighter in weight then a freestyle bike.

(b) This warranty covers for one year defects in material and workmanship only in the steel or Cro-Moly frames and forks of the bicycle.
(c) This warranty does not cover paint, decals, tires, tubes, chains, rims, cables, pads, handlebars, grips, pedals, and other wear items.
(d) This warranty obligation is limited solely to providing a similar style and quality replacement to the defective frame, without charge for materials. That obligation is subject to purchaser returning the defective part, together with a copy of this warranty and the original retail invoice or other evidence of the date and place of purchase.
(e) This warranty does not apply to frames or forks that have been damaged because of an accident, abuse, neglect, use in competition, jumping or stunt riding of any kind, or because of improper assembly or improper maintenance performed by anyone other than an authorized bicycle professional, or because of the installation on the bicycle of parts or accessories that were not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold.
(f) This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper adjustments, normal wear and tear or anything other than defects in workmanship and material.
