Great entry level bike!
This bike beats any bike in its price range hands down. There were a few issues with shipping, dings and the stickers that were put on were wrinkled. The staff fixed the shipping issues and were super easy to get a hold of. We will buy here again!Overall great product at a great price

if I'm 155 pounds and 5' 7'', is this the right bike for me?
A shopper on Nov 5, 2013
Best Answer: This bike should be fine for you depending on what you want to do with it. I have bought three of these bikes, one for each of my kids. My kids are much smaller than you, but I am able to ride comfortably and easy. Pretty light bike seeing as it can be ridden and held up by an eight year old, and def worth the money. I say go for it!

Clifford P on Aug 24, 2013
Best Answer: It is a BMX bike and size doesn't matter. My son is 5'6'' and he bought one and loves it. I don't think size matters on a BMX bike. they stand up to ride it most of the time anyway.

Is it okay for a 14yrl old 5.7 feet tall person?
David G. on Jun 25, 2014
Best Answer: My son who is 5.5 and 12 years old rides this bike with the seat all the way down and when he is sitting on the seat it looks like his knees could hit his chin. But 90% of the time he and his friends ride standing on the peddles while leaning on the handle bars. I have asked him if he would like the seat raised but he does not. I don;t think it is used a lot.

What took do you need to out this bike together ?
Diori V on Apr 15, 2014
Best Answer: It was just normal tools, nothing special. They recommend that you use a qualified repair shop to maintain your warranty. If you don't have any tools, wait til you get the bike and then go to a pawn shop or garage sale. As it is, this bike is not sturdy enough for hard landings. You will need to beef up the pedal cylinder or it will be crushed.

Is this bike good for dirt jumps?
Maison W on Oct 8, 2013
Best Answer: The bike is amazing! My only complaint is the very hard and unusable seat. I replaced the seat and also added a shock absorbent rod that connects the seat to the frame. If your racing and jumping there is no time to sit down. But even to take a breather between races, it was no bueno! The petals feel like they grab your feet, it's a good plus. And finally you have to make sure all parts are extremely locked down. Otherwise they will adjust during the ride, and that sucks.

Best Answer: I have not given this bike to my grandson yet, but he is 11 years old. I can tell you that he has ridden a bike of this size since he was eight years old. Most of the kids around here ride this size regardless of their age. My 17 year old grandson still rides his bike of same size.

audrey c on Jul 24, 2013
Best Answer: The forge is an entry level model. for the price you can't go wrong at all. For your size this bike will be perfect. The color is highly visible and will be a head turner. The bike doesn't have front & back pegs which is something to think about. On my forge I switched the seat, pedals, grips and added four pegs. These parts make all the difference and it now rides dramatically different. I would give this bike 4 out of 5 stars only because of some generic parts. Best of luck to you.

Tom W on Jul 13, 2013
Best Answer: Absolutely, the Framed Forge BMX Bike. Good bike as it has 14mm rear axle dropouts - brings up the strength in the rear end. Also it has the geometry of a high end bike with a far lesser cost - great way to see if your son will stick with the sport before sinking serious cash.

Will this bike fit me.?? I am 5'0 and weigh 95 lbs
A shopper on Dec 3, 2013
Best Answer: The Framed Forge will fit you. it has the ability to have the brake lever set screw set in and it pushes the lever itself closer to the bars making the reach to the lever shorter, you can drop the seat all the way down, and bring the bars back for a custom fit.
