The cranks on this bike came loose but because I already put it together it avoided the warranty. Disappointed with customer service but eventually came around. Like I said great bike, only thing is that I already have to buy new cranks and bearings after riding it for a week or so. Cranks were loose the day after I got it put together. Disappointing but overall a decent bike. I love the colors and design just annoyed that I already have to put more money into it after just spending 230 on the bike

Decent for the price
This is not a high end bike, was surprised at some of the cheap parts that were on the bike. Bike came with damaged handle bars, But overall for the price it was a decent deal. I would still suggest spending the extra money for a bigger name brand bike.

Best Answer: The life of any BMX bike, either the Framed Attack LTD BMX Bike or $1000 bikes on the market, all dependent on the rider and how well you take care of it. Years in most cases.

I bike 5.7 miles to school sometimes to keep me fit for hockey but I also bmx in towns, skate parks and stuff like that. Is this good for that?
A shopper on Aug 29, 2013
Best Answer: My son is about 5'5" and loves this bike! He does, however, not use this for distance due to the height and comfort of the seat. This can of course be adjusted. I also did just buy the framed team and this too is an excellent bike for the jumps and bmx style riding. So far, both have shown to be durable but keep in mind they do have the small sprocket :)

looking for a beginner bmx bike. Should I buy this one or is the Eastern Griffin a better option?
A shopper on Jun 21, 2015
Best Answer: Hi!
Both would work great. The Framed Attack LTD offers a Chromoly Frame which will be more robust than the Hi-Ten Steel used on the Griffin (a bit lighter too). The Eastern Bikes pedals and grips will most likely survive better than Framed's. For a beginner.... save the $80 and get the Attack.

Chris E on Sep 23, 2013
Best Answer: The Framed Attack LTD is a 20.4 top tube length which you would still be able to ride but not much room left for bar spins and the what not. You would maybe want to upgrade the handle bar and stem for a top mount stem and a 9 inch rise bar.

Is this a good box bike for free style ?
A shopper on May 15, 2014
Best Answer: This bike was until recently up for everything, bmx, tricks and anything else you can throw at it. However in the last month, it has developed a nasty grinding in the crank which I think wil be eventually terminal. It's probably my own fault as I have been riding in mud, water and everything else and the crank bearings are not sealed. As long as you don't ride in these conditions it is a very solid bike.

what brand is better Framed attack LTD or colony endeavour?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2015
Best Answer: Hi,
They are quite different. The Framed Attack is a good bike from a small brand. It offers a Chromoly frame at a reasonable price. It will be a great entry through intermediate level bike. Colony's bikes are outstanding... this Endeavour bike will survive anything you can put it through. It components will be a little tougher than the Attack, but the price will reflect that. Basically both are good bikes, but what are you intending to do with it. I will leave this available for opinions too!

A shopper on Sep 3, 2014
Best Answer: I bought it for my twelve year old son. He likes it and it has been good to him. He says that it is not as light as his cousin's bike, however. I would have to ask my sister what he rides. He had trouble getting the brakes to work because his hands are were not able to grab the lever really well, so I bought him a new lever that had a bend in it and was closer to the grip. Other than that it looks great and has not had an issue. He is not a hard core BMX rider so I am sorry to not be of more help.

Best Answer: I'm a bit older than you but much shorter and I had to add 9.5 bars to make it comfortable to ride. However, that is the same with all 20.5 inch frames. Other than that, I love it. It does what I want, is strong despite the pounding it gets and looks good. I would change the brake blocks for sticky rubber ones as well or it does not stop! Overall a great buy for the money. Not pro but good fun.

Best Answer: Hey, 18 and 6'2" - nice, anyway, I recenttly bought this bike for my grandson, I'm a young grandpa :). because like you he desires to build skills in BMX, he is with this bike, I've seen him do and attempt things I see on TV, keep moving, This is his first real BMX bike and his first experience developing and following the pros. It's a good BMX bike, AND for the EXACT same quality, feel and look as bikes with those BIG names costing 2 and 3 x this machine, I can't stress how GREAT a deal this is. If you're really desiring to get into BMX, this is a GREAT opportunity.

is this bike good for tricks?
Sheharyar A on Jun 15, 2014
Best Answer: A BMX bike can only be at the level of the rider and it depends on your weight, the bike weight differential and your speed when attempting tricks. Also factor in the heights of your jumps. There's a difference in approach with different terrains. Street courses and dirt courses, concrete, plastic, wood, layered earth and/or dirt. Ride with awareness.

Hunter on Jun 29, 2015
Best Answer: Hi Hunter,
While the frame shape and geometry of the Team and Attack are similar they actually have a number of differences. Most importantly is that the Attack LTD will have a Chromoly frame and the Team a Hi Ten Steel. The Attack will have double walled rims and some other upgrades as well.

i am 11 and weigh 120 and love to ride park and street should i buy it? please respond
A shopper on Jun 28, 2015
Best Answer: Agreed,
Sizing a BMX bike is different that regular bikes... and involves some personal preference. This Attack has a 20.5" top tube, and will work for someone a little taller. If you are continuing to grow... this is not a bad option as it gives you some flexibility.

The cranks for my pedals are loose and so is the chain, I just need to move the back tire to fix the chain but how do I fix the cranks?
A shopper on Jun 6, 2015
Best Answer: Take chain off. Each crank is bolted to a center shaft. On the opposite side of the sprocket, should be a big nut. As you turn it clockwise, while holding the crank, you should be able to tighten the nut until slop is removed. The crank should still be easily moveable. Put the chain back on and tighten the chain by moving the back wheel back.

Does it comes built or we have to build it?
A shopper on Mar 28, 2015
Best Answer: Hey,
Deborah's answer is quite correct. Our BMX bikes will come partially assembled. You will want a bike tech or knowledgeable person to complete the final assembly... failure to do so will void the warranty and create potential injury.
