Great simple ride
Just bought this for my son. Less expensive than the big names, and higher quality components, fantastic. Perfect bike for getting my youngest out on the trail with the family. Great bike for taking the little one out on the trails. Nicely specced for a kids bike, parts are mainly adult group parts which is a nice touch and adds tons of value for the price.

Good quality bike for the $$
I was searching for a sensible quality, light bike for my 8yo grandson. Heavy 20" bikes from Box stores (35lb and up!!)were not an option. I looked for new, used, Craigslist, eBay, online, etc. I found that everyone wants a mint for their new or used 24” bike (if you can find a used one). Anyway, the Cable 24” has a great low end, but high quality, SRAM groupset with cable operated disc brakes. The whole bike is very nicely fitted and equipped. It is truly a bargain at the $300 price point.

As with any new bike, check the whole bike for proper fitment of parts and properly torqued nuts and bolts, or have your LBS do it.

great price for a high quality bike

While I wasn't familiar with the brand, the components included are not typically found on a bike at this price point. It is hard to find a quality ride at this price.

i am 5'7 would this work. also would this work on green and easy blue trails at a downhill park?
A shopper on Nov 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
From Framed Bikes: "For a rider of your size and intention I would not recommend this bike. This bike is meant for a juvenile rider under 5' tall riding casually on light to moderate terrain. I recommend you look at the Framed Marquette lines of mountain bikes."
is the seat comfortable or no?
A shopper on Oct 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: It's a plush seat but heavy. I replaced it with a lighter saddle (along with other components) since my son wants to ride a bit hard and do some serious climbing.
Looking at the framed 24 kids bike for my son. He is 4ft 6inches would the bike be to large for him?
Mark G on Mar 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: 24" is a reference to the wheel size, not the bike size. 4'6" is just right for this.
How much does this bicycle weigh?
doug n on Feb 22, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Doug,
Framed says it will be right around 22lbs.
Can you provide the dimensions of the bike, for example, standover height and reach?
A shopper on Oct 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi,
26" standover, 23" reach
